So it begins! The Sisters of Battle are being shown off in all the plastic glory this weekend. Don’t miss any of these Adepta Sororitas!
We knew they were coming from Warhammer Community’s Sister of Battle bulletin, but dang these are amazing. If you missed the latest pics of the new Sisters bits and rumors previewed, make sure you get caught up.
Previous Bulletin Showcases Seraphim Model
Games Workshop announced that they’ll be posting everything to do with Sisters of Battle in a section of their website called the “Battle Sister Bulletin” this will be your one-stop-shop place to find all the latest details on the faction as Games Workshop works to bring us a codex.
In their last preview, Warhammer Community showcased a brand new Seraphim model!
One of the most enduring images of the Adepta Sororitas is that of their winged Seraphim swooping into battle, bolt pistols blazing. The Seraphim has always been portrayed as angelic, holy warriors, and the new miniature captures one such Battle Sister perfectly…

Many of the design cues for the Seraphim miniature have been taken from the Geminae Superia – the sisters Genevieve and Eleanor – who accompany Celestine, the Living Saint. After all, as protectors of a divine being, the Geminae Superia are perhaps the finest exemplars of what it means to be members of the Adepta Sororitas.
The Seraphim are still looking to be the same jump pack Sisters you love with a brand new sculpt update!
Plastic Sisters of Battle Revealed
Warhammer Community posted images of the painted figure they made from the preview render showcases at Adepticon 2018.
Now, one year later, we’re closer to the release of the most asked-for army in Warhammer’s history – and we can unveil just what this magnificent Battle Sister looks like painted…

Games Workshop is really going hard in the paint on this one. Exclusive images sent in from James Martin show the new model above.
Shadows appear to make the plastic look darker around her head and chest.
However, the sprue appears to be normal multi-part injection molded plastic. Looks like she will be a clam-pack style sprue that may be coming a lot sooner than the rest of the Sister releases.
Plus a surprise Seraphim mounted on the Inceptor flight stand. Not sure what material this is, as the lighting makes identification difficult.
We think it’s safe to say that the design on the new Seraphim model is definitely a step up. The new units will also hopefully coming in plastic which just makes for better conversions and the paint job will last longer too.
