A new rumor engine is here for us right on time and we’ve got a pretty good idea for what game it goes to. Check out the latest.
Warhammer Community handed us another rumor engine like clockwork and we feel pretty confident that we know what we’re looking at.
Scale it Back: New GW Rumor Engine Spotted
Before we jump in and say it’s anything for Warhammer 40k, we feel like we can go ahead and dismiss that universe completely. Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s Facebook revealed this rumor engine on their page and gave us a hint in the caption:
So now that we know we should be looking at the sphere of Hysh, the only thing that comes to mind as a possible choice would be Seraphon! And honestly, doesn’t that bit look like it’s the tail end of something like a Bastiladon?
We’re not saying that this bit is 100% a Bastiladon. However, it definitely has the same design pattern as some Seraphon stuff. In all honesty, there’s not that many scaled factions in AoS that could be confused with Seraphon either. GW might have just given us a “freebee”.
If you look closely at the bit, you can see brush strokes underneath the scaling. That means that this piece has already been done for a while now and should be making its way to a preview in the future. That being said, we don’t think GW will release a new model for the Seraphon and just stop there. Following the trend of AoS this year, they’ll probably accompany everything with a full release and battletome!
