Classic Ironjawz Engineering: New GW Rumor Engine

Games Workshop surprised us with a rumor engine bit that we didn’t expect to see. Could Orruks be the next big faction rework?

Warhammer Community revealed another rumor engine this morning and it looks like it’s definitely coming to AoS. It’s hard to think of any faction that could fit the bill for the bit in 40k. With that said, let’s jump into the latest bit.

Before we get into what the bit looks like, you can see that there are fragments of metal bolted onto a bigger piece of metal. And at the bottom, it looks like it could be the start of some crude wooden handle.

Looking at the current Ironjawz Battletome, you can get a clear shot of the same shaped jagged bits of metal bolted to his weapon. For extra rippage and tearage, of course.

Now moving onto what the bit could be.

It definitely is putting off some kind of massive sword vibe. With the wooden piece at the end probably being a handle, it’s looking to be a massive straight sword with crude bits of metal tacked on the ends.

Looking at this from a faction standpoint, if this really is for the Ironjaws, do you think the bit could be to a brand new model? Or is it something that’s getting reworked. The Ironjaws are fairly updated and don’t have a model that stands out as “old and needing a rework”. The faction could definitely use more units to choose from, however.

Who knows, we could see Ironjawz get an entire wave of support including a new Battletome in the months ahead. What do you think the rumor engine could be? What new unit do the Ironjawz need most? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
