A White Scars Cape? New GW Rumor Engine Spotted

rumor engine games workshop weekly new releases bits warhammer community LG

A new rumor engine is here and right on time. Check out the fur and gems on this bit that could be a White Scars cape, or something else…?

Warhammer Community previewed another rumor engine bit for us. After taking a few seconds to look at it, AoS and 40k are both some good options for guesses. Check it out yourself.

Fur & Gems! A Mysterious Rumor Engine Appears

Starting off with what it could be for AoS, it looks like we’re seeing a side-shot of a horse close up with part of the bridle exposed. The fur/hair could be the horse’s mane free-flowing. Wishful thinking is kicking in here but could it be a Bretonnian horse model? Another possible option for AoS is that this is actually a dude with an old tattered hood around his shoulders. Obviously, the hood opening where his face could be is out of frame. The leather strap could be part of a sheathed weapon on his side. It may take a minute to see it, but the possibility is definitely there.

As for a shot at a 40k bit, it COULD be a White Scars cape. They’re known for rocking some exotic armor ornaments from time to time similar to the Space Wolves. And with all the rumors emerging for White Scars support coming, it wouldn’t be surprising if we would start to see some new units headed towards the Chapter.

There’s a lot of good guesses to make on this bit overall, and hopefully, GW hasn’t photoshopped anything out making it nearly impossible for us to solve it (which is what they do from time to time). With that being said, what do you think we’re looking at? Is it for 40k or AoS? Would you like to see some new White Scars units hit the shelves in the future?
