Like clockwork, Warhammer Community dropped another rumor engine showcasing a mystery bit that we’re not too sure about. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think it could be.
GW Rumor Engine: Another Spectral Lamp?
So here’s the bit. After looking at it, we noticed a few things. Something tells us that it won’t be for 40k and is honestly putting off a vibe that might go to the new Death faction in AoS which we’ve covered in extreme detail. With a serrated circular blade and some kind of spirit/energy flowing through it, it seems like something a sorcerer in AoS would have over a Psyker in 40k.
Now while nothing is confirmed that these two pieces are linked, it definitely looks like the rumor engine has a similar theme going on to what’s on the back of the Vortex Beast. We’re not sure if that is completely planned or just coincidence but keep that in mind.
Looking toward the Death faction that we mentioned earlier, this bit might not go to the character whose voice we’ve heard, but maybe this bit could be the tip of a staff for some lesser Undead Sorcerer he commands. Either way, something is going on in the realm of AoS and all we have to do is look to GW in the weeks ahead.
