From Titans to Primaris marines and everything in between, don’t miss the 3 easy steps to make your weapons pop with green glow power!
Titan Quest 2019 is here folks! Recently on the Spikey Bits Twitch channel, we painted up some weapon and eye glows for Titans. The amount of detail on these models can be daunting, but we will show you the easy way to get your models painted right.
After getting started with a base coat of P3 Iosan Green, these weapons are getting some airbrush paint using P3 Necrotite Green. This green will act as a nice blend with the previous Iosan Green. A 50/50 mix of the two greens works best for this step. Leave a little of the Iosan in your pot, and add some Necrotite.
Aim your mix at the center of your plasma coil, and cut your airbrush towards the metal bits. Keep your air light and subtle to get a nice weapon glow effect going. Feather out your paint to get a good transition.
Then to finish it off just add a little yellow to the mix to make things POP. Any bright yellow works, but I have been using Flash Gitz Yellow from Citadel.
Once you are finished up with your weapons glow, go for the glowing eyes of the Titans. Aim for the center and thread your paint out towards the edge of the eye. Use a glaze when you are done to keep them nice and tight.
Painting miniatures can be secretly easy, so stay tuned for the latest hobby and painting tips from the Spikey Bits Twitch channel.
