Don’t miss our unbox and build of the new Plastic Sisters of Battle Canoness preview model for 2019 as we compare it to Amalia Novena and more!
The hype around the upcoming Sisters of Battle releases has been holding strong for the last 18 months or so since they announced them at Adepticon 2018. Today we are going to take a look at the latest Sisters release only available at the live GW Preview at the 2019 Nova Open.
So, if everyone will look under their seat we can get started.
This mini straight out of the box comes protected by the Emporer’s finest plastic container. One of the first things you will notice is that this mini doesn’t come with any instructions or datasheet. Though putting this mini together looks easy enough. The fact that it doesn’t come with a data sheet makes some people wonder what her battlefield role will be when the rest of the party arrives.
As far as assembly goes this mini goes together relatively easy but, one problem you might run into is the arms. You have to put the arms on the miniature at this point before you put the last half of the cape on. For a better look at what we are talking about and a sure-fire way to hide any seamline on this miniature check out our video below.
And here she is beside her Sister at Arms waiting for the rest of the faction to arrive! These new Sisters of Battle Miniatures are amazing and we love the amount of detail that Games Workshop is delivering in these new models. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the army brings to the tabletop when the Sisters of Battle finally hit the shelves at our local game store later on this fall.
As always, keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches, and check out our video below!
