Warhammer Community had more previews at GAMA 2020. In the Age of Sigmar, the Lumineth Realm-Lords are coming in hot.
Sure we’ve seen a few models here and there over the past weeks, however, even more are headed our way now!
Gama Expo 2020
This year’s GAMA is going on right now in Reno, Nevada. With nights full of games as well as over 150 booths loaded with hobby and tabletop goodies, this event is already looking solid.
New Lumineth Realm-Lords Models Previewed Earlier
Just hours before all the GAMA hotness was revealed, Warhammer Community also gave even more teasers as to what lies ahead for the faction. The best part is that they’re different from what was just revealed at the expo!
The key points to make on all these teasers is that we aren’t entirely sure what these models are. These just popped up during some kind of “designer’s commentary” sort of announcement. But looking at this Aelf from above, she looks to maybe be some kind of Oracle.
This chalice could be an Endless Spell, or maybe something that’ll come with the mysterious Realm-Lord from above. If you’ve seen the movie 300 you’ll know every good oracle needs some kind of incense burning and a bunch of unnecessarily wispy clothes. Issa fact.
And finally, this is just another kind of banner that’ll be making an appearance somewhere in the army as well. Now with all of that covered, let’s go over the latest…
More Lumineth Realm-Lords Previewed at GAMA 2020
A bunch is in store for us just ahead. But zooming in on Age of Sigmar, the Lumineth Realm-Lords just got a helping hand for magic and shooting units!
First up, we’ve got some fancy bowmen ready to cover the advance of the Realm-Lords. Take a look at the Auralan Sentinels.
Those triple-string bows turned out to be part of the rumor engine back from October. This is another one we can check off the list.
Providing long-ranged support to phalanxes of Auralan Wardens, Auralan Sentinels reimagine the classic High Elf Archer in stunning Warhammer Age of Sigmar fashion, featuring fantastic detail, great customisability and even fully strung bows.
This is an Alarith Stonemage – an aelven wizard attuned to the power of the elements. This model isn’t just a brilliant example of what modern miniatures design technology can do (look how delicately they’re balanced!), it’s also a valuable battlefield unit that enhances nearby allies, as well as smiting enemies with gravity manipulating magic!
While the model looks incredible, think ahead of how you’ll transport Alarith. There are some VERY weak points on the model that we’d hate to see snap.
While we thought that this stone might have originally been to some kind of terrain piece or Endless Spell, it’s actually what Alarith is balancing on.
On top of Alarith being one of GW’s most unique models, the same can be said for the potential rules. With an already-interesting faction theme, Alarith might be a literal earthbender from Avatar. With more and more models hitting the spotlight for this army, it’s only a matter of time before we see new rules begin to pop up.
And there you have it! Lumineth Realm-Lords are looking even more fleshed-out after these previews with obvious magic support and ranged firepower on the way!
