New GW Rumor Engine Spotted: More New Primaris?

gw rumor engineGW might be about to hit us with a throwback, primaris style- check out the latest rumor engine and tell us if it looks like this old Space Marine.

Warhammer Community dropped another rumor engine and this time, we can clearly tell what it is. It’s most definitely grimdark and screaming something imperial. Now, 8th Edition has brought in a bunch of new people, and a vast majority of players probably only know about Primaris and a couple of other non-Primaris Astartes units. But reaching back to a certain model from back in the day, maybe it’s getting a make-over?

New GW Rumor Engine Spotted: More New Primaris?

rumor engine 6-16-2020So here’s the latest bit. What do ya know, it’s a servo-skull attached to something. Due to the sheer lack of spikes and Chaos symbols, it’s probably Loyalist. But what other model have we seen that uses servo-skulls like that?

master of relicsHere is the good ol’ Master of Relics. Honestly, a pretty close match up to the rumor engine with the new bit obviously being more updated. There was a whole line of this guy like the Master of Marches, Master of Rites, etc. They just aren’t in Primaris form and you never see these guys on the tabletop…ever.

Just to show you how much this rumor engine is pointing toward the Master of Relics, look at the wiring draped down from the servo-skull. There’s one long tube on both models and even a secondary yellow and black striped hose connecting to something too. Just like in the old model!

While this bit is still open for debate, we’re putting our money on this guy coming back in a new way. If we do see him return all updated and whatnot, then the Master of Marches, Master of Rites, and friends could also be on the way too.

What do you think this rumor engine is? Would you like to see a Primaris Master of Relics?
