New 40k Darktide Trailer Sends Chills Down Your Spine

darktide-video-gameThere’s a new game coming to the 40k universe called Darktide, don’t miss the trailer for the co-op game that’s been developed by the makers of Vermintide.

Coming from Fatshark on YouTube, there’s a new video game on the way that looks like a 40k co-op horror/shooter. We’ve got a good sense of the vibe the game is going to have from the trailer so let’s take a deeper look.

New 40k Darktide Trailer Sends Chills Down Your Spine

From the developers of the best-selling and award-winning franchise Vermintide, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a visceral 4-player co-op action game set in hive Tertium. Fight together with your friends against hordes of enemies in this new Warhammer: 40,000 experience.

What does the Imperium do when they need to scout out old ruins? They send a small squad of Guardsmen to act as bait for the rest of the force. Watch this full teaser and get lost in the atmosphere of the game!

darktide teaser 1So the video starts out with a small recon team of Guardsman moving into a Hive that looks completely abandoned.

darktide teaser 2It’s eerily quiet and one of the Guardsmen shines his light on something that moves just beyond the frame. Whatever it is, you can tell it’s slimy and fast on its feet.

Only Days Left To Order Yours!

darktide teaser 3The video moves into a first-person camera angle and the point man turns his back on the darkness (rookie mistake) to look and see if his buddies are still behind him.

darktide teaser 4The Guardsman turns back around and shines his light on an entire crowd of Poxwalkers and some bigger dude standing in the background. If we had to take a guess, it looks like one of the Traitor Ogryn first seen inside Blackstone Fortress. For whatever reason, instead of running, they roll their shoulders back and look like they’re about to stand their ground (lol rip).

The teaser has just enough to make us want more, but it’s not coming out until sometime in 2021 so we’ve got a little while to wait.

What do you think about a co-op 40k shooter? Do you like the dark, outnumbered vibe this game has?
