Mega-Gargants Sons of Behemat Points & More Emerge

sons of behemat walSons of Behemat are going to be the next hotness to hit Age of Sigmar but they’re closer than we think- take a look at the points from GHB 2020.

Spotted on Reddit, we’ve got first pictures of the new Mega-Gargant’s Sons of Behemat points. Take a look at the points of each model variant. Keep in mind that the pictures are from a book in a different language. However, you can still make out what’s on the sheet.

Mega-Gargants Sons of Behemat Points & More Emerge

sons of behemat pointsLooking at the Mega-Gargant profiles, they’re all sitting at just under 500 pts with the Warstomper being 10 pts cheaper. In the grand scheme of things, that’s not a big deal at all. Especially in AoS. In case you were wondering, You can take them as part of any faction so don’t let the 400+ pts cap get you down. Now, let’s check out a close up of each model that was previewed earlier.

The Kraken-Eater

The Warstomper

sons of behemat war stomperThis dude has made armor out of a growing collection of tattered flags of fallen enemies. Grabbing shields and banners where he could, he’s a walking monument of unlucky armies. Check out how he’s used some armor plates as a bandaid on his forehead.

The Gatebreaker

Who Are the Mancrushers?

Before the Mega-Gargant points are even listed, we can see new unit called the Mancrusher Gargants. There’s not been any mention of these Gargants in any of the Sons of Behemat previews and if you check the comments on Reddit, some people are coming up with interesting answers as to what they could be.

ShoelaceFarmer on Reddit said:

Someone suggested that the mancrusher might be the same model as the aleguzzler, but they call it something else so they can balance it seperately.

Springboarding off of that point, it would make sense for GW to use the Aleguzzler models, but call them a different name and give them different rules for balance. Right now, the Aleguzzler Gargatn warscroll sits in the Gloomspite Gitz Battletome. Only time will tell as to what the Mancrusher Gargants really are.

What do you think about the points for the new Sons of Behemat? Will you be making an entire army out of these guys or just throwing one in your list? What’s your favorite of the three models?
