Fantasy Flight Games have just been pumping out the new X-Wing Expansion packs! It’s the best time to get into the game or expand your forces.
The First Order’s armies and agents are spread throughout the galaxy. No longer do they control it, it is now their turn to fight from the shadows. They plot the downfall of the Republic from wherever they can hide from prying eyes.
The new expansion allows you to field a Xi-class Light shuttle. The set also comes with a bunch of cards to make your own pilots and Squadrons. Or you can use the pre-set cards to play as Commander Malarus. Either way, this new fighter will add some serious speed and firepower to your squadron. Help restore the glory of the First Order with this awesome fighter!
If you’ve been thinking about getting into the X-Wing game, now is a great time. They are coming out with so many expansions that each game will be different than the last. Let’s take a closer look at the newest ship, via FFG!
X-Wing Expansion – Xi-Class Light Shuttle:
It’s like being a kid again! We love the nostalgic style packaging on these. They just released the preview and it looks like these will be available near the end of September. Not too much longer to wait.
The ship looks really cool and we love that you get all the counters, cards, and base in one set. No buying a bunch of different packs to field a ton of different combinations. If you love all things X-Wing, check out the other new releases.
Out Of The Ashes Cards:
Commander Malarus is the pre-set pilot for the ship. She is a fierce defender of the First Order ready to rise up when the time is right.
If you don’t want to play as Commander Malarus there are plenty of other pilots to choose from. The set comes with four different pilot cards and fourteen upgrade cards. You can turn this ship into a serious machine of destruction.
That does it for the latest expansion, might as well get prepared because this comes out in only 3-4 weeks!
