super happy guardsman wal horProgress has been made on that Cadian Imperial Guard action figure that was just announced!  Check out the new details.

A while back, we saw GW on Facebook announce that they had partnered with Green Wolf Studios to bring us a super realistic Cadian Officer action figure. It was more or less a “hey we’re doing this” post and there weren’t any progress pics. However, coming from a mix or sources like Green Wolf Studios Instagram and Facebook, there are a few renders we get to go over.

But before we jump into the new action figure pics, here’s the earlier coverage on the announcement and who Green Wolf Studios is.

Cadian Officer 40k Action Figure Announced!

green wolf studiosOur friends at Green Wolf Studios have spent the last year working hard on prototypes for officially licensed Astra Militarum action figures. Now they can reveal the first one to the world – a Cadian Officer!

Now for the first time you’ll have the opportunity to see the Astra Militarum produced as lifelike 1/6th scale collectable action figures.

Overall, the quality of their stuff is incredible. The finest details are covered head to toe. Note that there aren’t any pics of the IG figure currently but looking at some pieces of their sci-fi line, we have a solid idea of what’s on the way. It looks like they’re about to treat the Imperial Guard right!

green wolf studios cadian officer render 2The dude will have a nice beard going, a scar running across the center of his face, and a removable Officer’s cap. Also, speaking about the bionic eye, Green Wolf Studios put some thought into why he would have one in the first place…

green wolf studios cadian officer render 3Cadian Officer with Bionic Eye, we had so much fun trying to rescale the bionic eye and adding our own touches to it. The head will have the look of a fresh battle wound in the form of a slash mark across his face which caused him to lose an eye. Hope you like what we have done here.

While there aren’t any full renders of the mode just yet, we know what he’ll look like and what he’ll be armed with. Pretty exciting!
