Season 2 of The Witcher Teasers

By Travis Pasch | October 6th, 2020 | Categories: Offbeat, Warhammer 40k Rumors

Season-two-the-witcher The Witcher Season 2 teasers are here, and it’s time to get excited to see perhaps the most famous Warhammer hobbyist back in action.

The first season was wildly successful so it isn’t really a surprise to have another season on the way. But just because it isn’t a huge surprise doesn’t mean we aren’t excited!

With all the craziness of COVID going on, there have been a ton of things delayed and canceled so getting some actual pictures from the production is nice to see. They started filming back again in August, and things look to be moving along nicely.

Season 2 of The Witcher Teasers

While the Witcher is awesome, it’s almost more awesome to have a fellow nerd on the screen! Henry Cavill is a self-proclaimed Warhammer enthusiast so it’s hard not to get behind his projects!

Let’s check out the teasers from Twitter.

The Witcher Season 2Geralt of Rivia is back and looking as badass as ever! He definitely upgraded his armor this season and we can only guess at the giant baddies he’ll be fighting.

Looks like she’s going to join the fray in earnest this season! Who doesn’t love a sword-wielding chick with a chip on her shoulder?

That does it for the teasers so far, but it looks like they’ll be releasing all kinds of stuff if they keep going at this rate. But of course, we have to take every chance we can to talk about Cavill’s love of the ole Warhams.

Henry Cavill Talking About Warhammer

Henry Cavill Painting WarhammerHere is the man himself painting some Custodes straight from his Instagram. We did a more in-depth post about it, which you can check out here. But let’s hear what he has to say about the hobby:

Considering we are, both, going through the Easter period, and going through The Lockdown, I figured it a good time to put a silver lining onto the cloud that is some of the darker moments during this time. So I’ve decided to polish some old skills and try my hand at some new ones! It is a time of rebirth after all. So, as you can see here, the obvious might look a little bit like a tiny helmet…which it is. One of my almost life long hobbies, that I’ve been following but not actively doing, is this. A company called Games Workshop…or plastic crack as “we” call it. Genuinely can’t get enough of the lore they have built over the decades. They have been some of my most enthused reads! If you were in denial about me being a geek before, you can’t hide from it now. Also, in the background of this photo, there may just be some completely new skills I’m working on…..or there may not be, so all of your eye squinting and attempts at digital unfocusing will be in vain….orrrr maybe they won’t.

It’s great to see a life-long hobbyist putting some good press out for the hobby!  That does it for this one! Get excited because it doesn’t look like we have too long to wait now for the next season of the Witcher!
