The 2021 Necromunda New Release Roadmap has been revealed- here’s what you can expect for the Underhive in the coming year.
2020 hasn’t been kind in very many ways, but the year was great for Necromunda players! There were tons of new minis, rules, and terrain released over the course of the year. Today on Warhammer Community, they revealed everything we can expect in 2021. It honestly looks pretty good! Starting off, more reinforcements will hit shelves and then Cawdor and Delaque will be arriving. After that we have a mystery gang coming.
If your favorite gang hasn’t gotten a release recently, you won’t have to wait forever at least! Let’s look at the latest release and then see what happens with 2021!
Van Saar Update:
Along with in-depth background on House Van Saar, the book includes:
- fresh ways to use them in games of Necromunda
- unique technological advancements
- gang-specific strategies
- new fighters such as the Archeoteks and Neoteks.
These units represent the two ends of the experience scale in the Van Saar gang. Archeoteks have mastered the most potent of the clan’s technology over many years. Meanwhile, Neoteks are young hotheads, flying around on their grav-cutters, trying to avoid the low-hanging dangers of the underhive.

2021 Necromunda Book Roadmap Revealed!
Here’s the order of the books we’ve seen up until now. Each one has also been accompanied by some amazing minis! Let’s see what’s coming next year.
Some of the reinforcements we’ve seen previewed, and maybe a couple we haven’t, are coming first. Once the second quarter of the year hits we then start seeing the new Gangs come into play. Starting with the faithful of House Cawdor! If Fanatics are your thing, then this is the gang for you! After that, we then get the shadow masters of House Delaque. Let’s hear what they have to say about it:
The Cawdor and Delaque clans get the “House of…” treatment and we’ll be seeing some of the Necromunda characters that already have awesome artwork make their debuts as models. So we might be seeing this Master Nautican in the underhive before long – that will be especially helpful for anyone who wants to get a nice cool glass of water in the underhive.
That’s going to be amazing to get minis for longstanding artwork!
The Mystery Gang:
After that, they won’t tell us quite yet who the last one is going to be! Let’s just hope it’s something amazing and that we won’t have to wait too long!
