Warband Feature rThe Lizardmen are coming to Warhammer Underworlds in the form of the Starblood Stalker Warband – check it out!

Today Warhammer Community previewed one of the newest Warbands coming to Direchasm. They will be the first-ever Seraphon Warband entering the game and are the first reveal in a new series called Visions of Glory. The Slaan are worried the living mountain could turn into a demigod, so they have no choice but to send in their fighters. But will they be able to stop it? Well, that will be up to you! Let’s check out the preview.

Starblood Stalker Warband Preview for Direchasm

Seraphon WarbandThe Warband is pretty Skink heavy, but there’s nothing wrong with that! The Warband is led by Kixi-Taka, the Skink Priest, but there is also a Saurus Oldblood thrown in there as well. They also revealed a huge amount of cards for the Warband. Let’s take a look at what else they revealed.

Kixi-Taka Cards

Seraphon Warband cardsFirst up is the leader of the Warband, he has a decent ranged attack and some interesting skills. Here’s what they have to say about the Skink Priest:

With a reliable ranged attack, Kixi-Taka can blast opponents off objectives or turn feature tokens themselves against any enemies that thought they had claimed them.

 Warband-Specific Cards

Seraphon Warband cards 2This Hybrid Objective card gives you a couple of ways to score glory. Against those weaker warbands with lots of juicy two-wound fighters, you can aim to take them out of action. If you’re up against a smaller, tougher enemy, you can use your numbers to swarm the feature tokens and claim them for yourself.

Seraphon Warband cards 4Voidsphere not only gives you a dangerous one-use ranged weapon but it lets you remove any of those persisting gambits, which includes Asterism! Just look at how happy Kixi-Taka is to have it in the artwork

Seraphon Warband cards 3The Seraphon bring with them a new type of Ploy card – Asterism. These are similar to the Cycle Ploy cards used by the Wurmspat in that they stay in play until either the end of the round or until another Asterism card is used. The Hunter’s Steed will have your fighters moving faster than lizards on the hot sand.
