4800 Weatherproof Protective Case, X-Large, Black apacheThese 5 cases fit most of the foam trays you probably already have for your miniatures and are on sale right now for under $50!

This case isn’t originally made for minis, but there are always great alternatives out there to save you some cash! This is from Harbor Freight and the sale ends on Feb. 11th, so if you want it, don’t wait. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the sale very early, but you still have two days left to grab it!

It looks to be very heavy-duty, weatherproof, dustproof, impact-resistant, and bigger than a lot of similar cases. It’s 6″ deep so you can fit a 4″ and a 2″ insert in there, which is pretty nice. It also comes with some pluck foam so you don’t have to buy extra if you can make what’s there work for you. Let’s check it out!

Carrying Case With Mini Inserts

Foam insertsWith the Standard 15″x12″ Battle Foam

Foam inserts 2Old Citadel Case Foam

Foam inserts 4Battlefoam 12-1/2 x 15″ tray flush against the back

Foam inserts 5Battle Foam Skirmisher (old gw tray size)

Foam inserts 3The Apache even comes with its own foam that you can pluck out to fit one of the other foam trays inside!

You can see it works pretty well with all kinds of inserts! Whether you want to go with a few smaller ones or mix it up with the bigger sizes and smaller ones. It’s also wider than most of the original GW ones, so you can get two side by side or throw in two bigger ones on top of each other. While it’s not as deep as some cases, this will really keep your minis safe!

Plus like we said above you can even pluck out that apache foam to fit the other trays inside of it, or use the foam the case comes with to protect your larger items!

That does it for this one! If these foam cases are made to keep precious electronics safe in transport, it should keep those precious miniatures free from harm too. If you want it at the sale price, don’t wait!
