A new Mortal Kombat movie is coming for the world-famous video game series, don’t miss the first big action-packed trailer!
You might be saying, “Mortal Komba thas already had movies” which is true, however, the old movies were pretty hit or miss. This new reboot looks like it has real potential, both because of the modern effects, but also because the cast and director might just be better this time around.
Oh, and it’s R-rated for the first time ever!

The Director, James Wan has helped write some in the Saw, Conjuring, and Insidious universes. he may have been focused on horror, but he has also helped create Furious 7 and Aquaman. This all adds up to the fact that he is pretty experienced and can help create a great film for the series.
In the trailer, you can see some clear character references and even some development that you don’t always get depending on which games you’ve played.
There is also a ton of violence and gore as is expected with the famous saying: FATALITY. The movie is no exception and serves as a reimagining of the games in a film universe.
Whether you are a fan of the games, or maybe just want a decent action fighting movie. This reboot might be it. The trailer is certainly encouraging!
The movie is slotted to release on April 16th, this year, so if you want to check it out, you won’t have to wait much longer!
