10 new releases are on the way next week for Kill Team, Necromunda, and 40k at large, as GW just confirmed next weeks pre-orders!
Warhammer Community just let us in on all the new releases coming our way next week!
Kill Team: Pariah Nexus
This new expansion is packed to the brim with new Kill stuff and even some fantastic models for 40k players too. Let’s check out the contents.
Heavy Intercessors
These new Heavy Intercessors are a big deal for 40k, they’re expected to be super meta for Space Marine lists, however for now they are only in this Kill Team box for now. Boo for locking releases behind a paywall GW!
Flayed Ones
These flayed ones have been screaming for their kit to release for a while now, luckily it’s finally coming!
Captain with Master-Crafted Heavy Bolt Rifle
The Captain is clad in Mark X Gravis armour, increasing his survivability even further, and he’s armed with a master-crafted heavy bolt rifle for some brutal firepower.
Chronomancer
Meanwhile, the Chronomancer can be equipped with a choice of aeonstave or entropic lance and has three head options, alongside one of two chronometrons (one open, one closed) in its left hand.
Pariah Nexus Terrain
As we mentioned earlier, the action takes place in a Necron tomb complex rather than beneath the open sky. Each side of the fold-out card game board included in the set represents a subterranean location – either a Crypt of Cynosure or Translocum Chamber.
Kill Team Pariah Nexus Book
You’ll be fully kitted out for playing the game, too. Not only does the 112-page Pariah Nexus book include the game’s core rules, but it also offers loads of additional content, such as the Close Confines rules for fighting the desperate indoor and underground battles. This expansion is set in a deadly Necron labyrinth (of dooooom), after all.
Now with the expansion box full covered, we can move to the other releases.
Kill Team: Killzones
This 112-page book introduces the varied environments in which kill teams operate and provides rules for fighting battles across six such killzones: Death World Forest, Sector Mechanicus, Sector Munitorum, Wall of Martyrs, Sector Fronteris, and Sector Sanctoris.
And of course to match this new rule book, you’ll need the terrain to match, as they have re-printed some of the Killzones from the past few years.
Killzone: Sector Fronteris
Killzone: Sector Munitorun
Killzone: Sector Mechanicus
Honoured of the Chapter box
Space Marines Honoured of the Chapter box includes the Primaris Chaplain, Judiciar, and Bladeguard Ancient, as well as the three Bladeguard Veterans and Eradicators.
This is quite the selection of heroes, all of which were previously in various editions of the 9th edition starter boxes.
Necrons Royal Court box
Necrons Royal Court set sorts you out with some key Necron units – the Skorpekh Lord, Canoptek Reanimator, Plasmancer, and a pair of Cryptothralls.
The Necron equivalent also features some models that were previously in the starter boxes, which means if you didn’t get them now is your chance.
Orlock Champion and Gangers
This trio of resin miniatures is perfect for depicting any of your gang’s senior ranks, be they a Road Captain (Leader), Road Sergeant (Champion), or Gunner (Ganger). Lay down fire and protect your turf with three of the House of Iron’s best fighters.
Rattus Tatterskin
The infamous Cawdor Hive Scum also emerges from the shadows next weekend as a wonderfully characterful resin miniature, armed with his custom heavy stubber, the Flagellator. If your redemption finds itself stalling, try adding Rattus Tatterskin (and his loyal rat minions) to your gang and kick things up a notch in the firepower – and smelliness – departments.
With the release of the next Kill Team update, will you grab anything? Are you excited about the new 40k figures this week?
