We’ve got a solid GW rumor engine that looks like something big with not a single weak link, so get your thinking caps ready and dive in!
Warhammer Community just unveiled one more rumor engine and this time it’s some stuff linked together. Check out the details of this new bit that looks to be on the way for 40k or AoS.
Not A Single Weak Link: New GW Rumor Engine
This one is a little tricky. It could be lots of things for lots of factions. Let’s start simple, with all the runes/symbols it has. While we can’t place them, the inclusion of them might remove a model like Tyranids for example. The pieces seem to be welded together cleanly, which might remove destruction or Undead. Due to the pieces being connected it might mean that it’s a large model, meaning it was easier to wield multiple things together than make a new much bigger thing.
It’s fair to say this might be a new large model for a faction like Lumineth Realm Lords, but with these in mind, the first thing that came to mind as a current model is the recent Warstomper Gargant.
Obviously, the Gargants/Sons of Behemat are pretty new and I don’t see them getting an update any time soon. However, the design is what matters here. The shields and armor for the Gargant are all tied and wielded together, just not to the same level of craftsmanship of the rumor engine. A new large model, like Avenlor the Stone Heart King, might be coming to join the Lumineth lineup.
While a new 40k mini isn’t completely impossible, there’s nothing super futuristic or grimdark that outright suggests it. However, it is certainly not eliminated as a possibility!
Any way it goes, we may know sooner rather than later!
What do you think these are? Do you think it could be a new large model in AoS?
