halo-tv-series-master-chief-titleThe Halo TV Series has had some coverage already, but recently pictures of the Warthog surfaced! Come see!

The Halo TV series got another set update via Twitter featuring a look at some marines and a warthog, before we chock those out though, let’s go over all we’ve seen so far.

Right before the holidays, Halo Waypoint put out a huge post detailing a bunch of updates on everything Halo. However, it also included a look on set to give us an idea of production for the TV Show and they look great! The original voice actor for Cortana is also returning for the show as well.

Original Cortana Voice Actor Joins Halo TV Series

cortanaWindows made a pretty cool effort when creating their virtual assistant by bringing on the voice actor from the Halo series as well. Now the full cycle is full circle as Jen Taylor is able to rejoin the cast of the upcoming TV show. In a weird sort of way, the delays are actually to thank, originally she had scheduling conflicts, but now her time was freed up, and was able to reprise her role!

Considering how far and wide her voice is known to people who might not even think they know her, having a separate actor for the show would have been a bummer. This change however might just be a slight boost that the show could have used!

Set Images Surface For New Halo TV Series

This Alien hand is super detailed, but the question is, will it be alive or dead in the show? (Maybe both)

If you didn’t know now you know, this is Jen Taylor, the voice of Cortana. She is on set here, does that mean she will also be acting? Or is she solely there as a guest and will only provide the Voice Over? We’ll have to wait as see but probably it’s safe to assume the latter.

With a full set you need good props, and this UNSC crate looks great. If we didn’t know it was from a TV/Video game, we might even think it was a  legitimate organization.

The lineup of all these guns gives us a small hint about the scale of the show. While these might only be for a shelf, they might be for soldiers running around on-screen during a battle or the like!

New Warthog Pics Surface For The Halo TV Series

warthogSpotted on Twitter, the quality of this image is kinda blurry, but a hot dog, that is a good-looking Warthog. The vehicle looks like you could hop in and drive it down the highway, but it is a prop at the end of the day. It’ll be a treat to see it in the show for sure in what they have planned for the pimped ride.

halo marinesCan’t have a Warthog without a crew! These guys are fully suited up and look like they are possibly just coming back from a break. This might help reinforce the possibility for largescale battles in the show, but we will have to just wait and see to know for sure!

There’s still not much on the table in terms of timelines, but we did just get this trailer.

New Halo Live-Action Series Trailer is a Must See!

The trailer was revealed during Microsoft’s 20th anniversary of Xbox, which is pretty perfect considering how big Halo has been for the company.

halo show 2The trailer starts with a close-up of the back of Master Chief, played by Pablo Schreiber. He has plenty of scars and looks pretty scary. Then, he starts suiting up!

halo show 3Next, you hear Jen Taylor (who played the Cortana from the games) reprising her role saying “Hello, Master Chief.” That’s where the teaser ends, but at least we finally got something!

What are your thoughts on a Halo Live-Action TV Show? How important is prop quality? Are you going to watch it when it comes out?
