BREAKING: GW Stopping New Releases For Weeks!

no-new-gw-releasesGW just announced they will be pausing new releases for a number of weeks as it seems they are unable to meet customer demand in any manner.

Warhammer Community just let us in on a change of plans concerning the new release cycle. They are going to pause new releases for a couple of weeks – Let’s go over the line-up!

GW Stopping New Releases For Weeks!

gw shippingEveryone at Games Workshop is working really hard to get all of your orders to you in good time so you can continue to enjoy your Warhammer hobby, whether that’s via games-workshop.com or forgeworld.co.uk, your Warhammer store, or a friendly local gaming centre. With this in mind, over the next couple of weeks, there will be a short pause where we’ll have no new pre-orders. Have no fear, though – new releases will be coming your way before you know it.

They don’t really give a timeframe, just state “the next couple of weeks”, which is a little cryptic. This most likely means we won’t be seeing new stuff until we are well into May.

horus heresy 31-35You can also order books 31-35 in The Horus Heresy series in hardback next week as part of Black Library’s Print on Demand service – perfect for completing your collection.

On a slightly happier note, Horus Heresy 31-35 will go on MTO via Black Library next week, meaning lore hounds with unfinished collections can pick some of these up!

Will you pick up these books? Are you upset about GW stopping new releases again or was it necessary to get things back on track availability-wise?
