Top 40k Army Lists Utah Gamer’s Alliance Open GT 2021
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings we are able to look back at the event as if we were there ourselves.
3rd Place: Nicolas Wenker – Death Guard
2nd Place: Adam Baker – Imperial Knights
1st Place: Rich Kilton – Orks
Always good to see the greenskins on top, we expect to see a lot more of this once the new book drops! Not to take anything away from the Orks, but it’s also cool to see the Imperial Knights notch a top spot as well. Anyway, to the list.

Nothing too crazy with the HQ, as the three choices are pretty standard, but give a lot of different support to the different units. two 30 man units of boyz make up the bulk of the troops, which are perfect to target with Da jump! A giant screening unit of Grots and a smaller unit of Boyz to go in the Trukk round out the troops, so plenty of bodies to just run the enemy over in there!
2 harassing units of 5 strong Stormboyz fill out the only Fast Attack slots. Smasha Guns give that little bit of extra shooting power, but the main power of the list lies in just the sheer number of Boyz rampaging around. Then in the next detachment, he grabbed Ghazghkull Thraka to really help smash through the enemy.
Another Weirdboy rounds out the final psychic prowess for the army. The last 10 man squad of Gretchin is perfect to get your troop choice for only 50 points.
Congrats Rich on bringing the Orks to glory!
What do you think about the lists? Do you think Orks will be placing higher once the new codex drops?
