new-gw-releases-happy-guars-man-crispThe GW release roadmap for June looks to be full of some long-anticipated minis, new AoS, and even some new codices- check it out!

While things were slow for a little while, GW has really kicked things into gear for the upcoming releases. According to our source, there won’t be long to wait for the new AoS starter box, even though it was just previewed over the weekend. That’s not the only thing big happening though!

40k players will be getting 4 new codices within the next 4-6 weeks, which is needed! Since we’re so far behind as is, can’t hurt to start pumping them back out. Let’s get into it!

Rumors: New GW Release Roadmap for June

sisters codexCodex: Adepta Sororitas includes all of the rules and datasheets you need to bring the armoured fist of the Adeptus Ministorum to your battlefields, as well as page after page of in-depth background information, gorgeous photography, and stunning artwork. For the truly faithful, a luxury collector’s edition is also on the way to really show off your devotion to the Emperor.

Well, might as start with the most obvious one. All the Sisters’ stuff has been revealed, and we know for a fact that’s hitting pre-order next week! We’ve covered all the releases here, so if you want to see more about them, go check it out!

Dominion Starter & AoS 3.0

dominion minisDominion is full to bursting with glorious Warhammer goodness – two full armies, each with several units, a powerful Leader, and ample support. It also includes the full Core Book with an exclusive cover, plus loads of warscrolls and reference material.

From the looks of it, there will be a two-week pre-order run for a June 19th release. Meaning the debut of the new edition could be right around the middle of June. Let’s just hope the allocation is a little better than normal, because if it rolls out like the Indomitus box set did last July there may be a lot of unhappy hobbyists out there.

We doubt it though, so if you want it, better get on the pre-orders early! Still, the box really seems to have lived up to the Indomitus comparison-wise and will finally herald in the new edition of AoS that has been teased forever! Check out the full coverage of the release here.

Beast Snaggas

Beast SnaggasThis box will then follow up the AoS release, meaning we could see this as early as the 3rd or 4th week of June. Rember though, the box will be released with the new Ork codex before it is sold separately. Meaning if you want earlier access to the rules, you will have to buy this box!

assassins-bundle-featureThis Army box also comes with every new Beast Snagga mini, so if you want to talk about selling fast… We don’t expect this to stick around for long. On top of all of that, they said this will be a limited run, meaning it is probably going to see a huge run on the secondary market.

Thousand Sons/Grey Knights

grey knights & thousand Sons revealed feature rThe is supposedly going to be hit right near the beginning/middle of July. This is going to be more than books though, it will have a box release similar to Piety and Pain.

It seems like two powerfully psychic forces are preparing to clash in an upcoming battle box. But the warp is fickle, and you’ll need to wait a little bit longer to find out exactly what’s going on here.

With the new Thousand Sons character mini and Crowe for the Grey Knights. We aren’t sure what other units will be inside, but it looks like GW wants to do box sets like this when there is only going to be one new mini for the faction.

With this in July, that still leaves some room for AoS stuff, but any other 40k factions will probably have to wait until August.

Fingers crossed it goes back to the two codexes per month release schedule this fall.
