More 40k Orks and the JOY TOY action figures are on the way- check out all the new releases that will be going on pre-order next week!
Games Workshop just let us in on all the latest new releases that are finally going up for pre-order this coming Saturday. From the looks of it, this is another wave of releases for Beast Snagga Orks, along with the Joy Toy action figures we’ve seen around the web for a few months now.
Now let’s look at next week’s line-up starting with the Joy Toy figures release from Warhammer Community.
JOYTOY Vanguard Space Marine Incursors and Infiltrators
Available in squads of four Incursors or Infiltrators, the Vanguard Space Marines are 12cm tall – approximately 1:18 scale – and they can be equipped with all manner of amazing accessories, including guns, pistols, mines, and weapon sights.
There are two different options available to order, but they are very similar. The main difference is a slight loadout difference and of course, they look different too.
These JOYTOY action figures are available via our Made to Order service, and you’ll be able to order yours on Games-Workshop.com for one week only between the 25th of September and the 3rd of October. Set a reminder for next Saturday so you don’t miss out.
These are all going to be available to reserve soon, but make sure you save the date and order one if you want it as there’s no telling how much these will go for on the secondary market after the print run is over.
GW Reveals 40k Orks & New Release Lineup for Next Week
Kill Rig
A giant scrap-metal sleigh bristling with gun towers, dragged into battle by a cantankerous tramplasquig, as a Wurrboy blasts enemies with bolts of psychic energy like a wild-eyed murder-Santa delivering the gift of death? That’s textbook Ork.
This kit can alternatively be built as a Hunta Rig – with a separate Wurrboy – that’s perfect for giving your bellowing Beast Snagga Boyz a ride.
As an added bonus, this is a big model, and big models are cool. The model also has some different building and playing options making it a decent kit overall with different applications for different players.
Painboss
If any of your Boyz happen to fall off their Kill Rig or get trampled by a horde of squighogs, the Painboss is here to fix ’em up, often with a cybernetic limb or two. Not known for his bedside manner, he leaves all the grunt work to his Grot Orderly, who he’s also outfitted with a snazzy motorised wheel.
This new Painboss also has multiple build options, making it possible to run multiple that looks completely different!
Mozrog Skragbad / Beastboss on Squigosaur
Mozrog Skragbad is the surliest, meanest, and most belligerent Beast Snagga to have ever lived. Charging into battle on Big Chompa, his great white squigosaur, he’s a total force of nature.
Upgrade Your Redemptor for Less!
While you could technically paint any squig white, this one does certainly have its own lore implication, which does make it exciting for any Warboss who might field it on the tabletop.
Stuffed full of bionics after being swallowed whole and nearly digested by a goliath gutmaw, Skragbad is more determined and fightier than ever. This kit also builds a generic Beastboss on Squigosaur for a slightly more chilled-out alternative – by Ork standards at least.
Just like the other kits this week multi-purpose is the name of the game, and this one is no different. Having extra options is always a good thing.
Warhammer 40,000 Sisters of Battle Comic
The first issue of the incredible new Sisters of Battle comic written by Torunn Grønbekk and Edgar Salazar is available to order from next week.
This look at the grim darkness of the far future from Marvel Comics and Games Workshop follows Novitiate Ghita and a squad of Adepta Sororitas led by Canoness Veridyan. This story is bloody, brutal, and full of surprises.
As an added bonus, when and if you get it directly through GW you can get this dope exclusive cover that other retailers don’t have!
Siege of Terra: Warhawk
This gripping tale by Chris Wraight describes Jaghatai Khan and his audacious gambit to liberate the Lion’s Gate space port from his daemonically empowered brother Mortarion.
All around him, slaughter reigns as the Traitor Legions gain more and more ground on Terra – can the White Scars and their Primarch stand strong against the Death Guard?
Siege of Terra: Warhawk Limited Edition
The limited edition is full of all the additional illustrations and details that you’ve come to expect from these luxurious releases, including a faux leather cover, gold gilt page edges, and a ribbon bookmark. You can also pre-order Warhawk in ebook and MP3 audiobook formats. If you’re hungry for more of Chris’ words while you wait, why not pick up The Helwinter Gate?
