Magic The Gathering Innistrad Double Feature First Up for 2022

Magic The Gathering MTGIt looks like the Innistrad Double Feature cards will be the first release for Magic the Gathering in 2022- check it out!

The cards are bringing something a little different to the game, as they are printed in black and white. As usual, the artwork looks pretty awesome and the new style of card is striking. You’ll also be able to score a promotional card at your favorite WPN store if you go to the previewing party. The release date was just announced over on Wizards.

The fun doesn’t stop there either, they are also kicking off a Commander Party at the end of January where you can get some more free cards! Let’s check out the details.

Magic’s Innistrad Double Feature First Up for 2022

Magic double featureInnistrad: Double Feature arrives at WPN stores on January 28, 2022! The box includes both Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and Innistrad: Crimson Vow cards with an eye-catching black-and-white treatment, echoing beloved horror films of the past.

Players excited to see the beautiful cards first—and ready to pick up a cool black-and-white promotional version of Innistrad favorite Endless Ranks of the Dead—can check with their local WPN Premium store for the Preview Event, starting one week in advance on January 21, 2022.

Magic double feature 2The cards do really have an awesome style and it is fun to see a mix-up of the cards like this. Plus, who doesn’t want to think back to the crazy old horror movies while playing? With this being a promotional card, be sure to visit your store and pick up a free version of it! If you don’t want to wait for that, you can pre-order a whole bunch of cards right now.

If you really want to go all-in on the double feature, might as well grab this. You will also be able to order the Crimson Vow cards, but they aren’t on Amazon quite yet for pre-order and it looks like they will be live on November 19th.

Commander Parties

Magic double feature 3Fans can look forward to a weekend of play as Commander Parties now take place January 28–30, 2022. You can also receive a promotionoal Conjurer’s Closet just for participating.

The Commander Parties have been rescheduled for the end of January, which is some good news after the recent announcement that the Reserve List is here to stay you can bring out those big gun staples and keep on playing!

Magic double feature 4Commander Black also releases on the same date, so it will be a perfect time to pick it all up at the same time!
