9 Other Dragon Models You Can Score For Age of Sigmar

Dragons are so how right now in Age of Sigmar- take a look at this list of all the other dragon models for games of AoS!

It’s taken a long time (at least to us) for GW to finish releasing all the Stormcast models from the summer. Obviously, the new AoS Dragon models were delayed more than they wanted. This weekend though you can finally order the last two kits.

There are still a decent number of dragon models available in Warhammer, but most are for Stormcast. So if you really love dragons, you basically need to pick up the faction. Still, other armies have a few too, so let’s check those out today!

9 Other Dragon Models You Can Score For Age of Sigmar

New Stormcast Dragons 2

New Stormcast Dragons 3

Well, might as well start with the newest dragon model! This kit can be made as either Krondys or Karazai. So even though its price is on par with other larger kits ($150), it can at least be built as two different models. Plus, these dragons are so powerful, they don’t have any riders.

Karazai the Scarred

New Stormcast Dragons 4

New Stormcast Dragons 5

This is the other side of the kit and it’s hard to choose between the two when it comes to looks. We’ll have to see what kind of magnetization you can do and see how hard it will be to make both from one kit.

Stormdrake Guard

New AoS Stormcast Dragons 4

Stormdrake Guard are Stormcast Eternals who have forged a symbiotic relationship with their Draconith mounts. Clad in thunderstrike armour and adorned with a rare Draconith beastmark, these warriors can be armed either with a drakerider’s lance or drakerider’s warblade.

These have already gone up in points before they were even released, so you know they are quite strong! So hopefully they are still very useful.

Lord-Celestant on Stardrake

Stormcast StardrakeNearly all the kits for Stormcast can be made into two versions, which is pretty awesome. This was one of the first new dragon miniatures made for Age of Sigmar and still looks pretty good.

Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon

zombie dragonThis kit is basically every dragon for the undead. It can be made in so many ways and for only $60, this really isn’t a bad kit at all. It’s a little on the old side but hey, the nostalgia is always strong when one of these hits the table.

Sorceress on Black Dragon

Black DragonYou know a mini is old when the GW website still has it on a rectangle base! But hey, why mess with something awesome?

Maw-krusha

maw-krushaWe’re not sure the Orruks consider this to be a dragon, but hey, we do! Just look at it, it could easily be a dragon offshoot- so we’re counting it.

Archaon Everchosen

ArchaonAgain, this is possibly a dubious dragon as it’s really more of a daemon mount. Still, we’re going to count it again because who doesn’t love this model?

War Hydra

War HydraThis mini is also quite on the old side, but still, pretty fun to throw down on the table and eat through your enemies! Feed me Seymour!

Sorta Almost Dragons

While these aren’t full dragons, we wanted to include some of them because they are so much fun! There are tons out there, so we’re just including some of our favorites.

dragon ogreWell, this one literally has the word dragon in the name and it’s half-dragon… so we’re including it and to be honest, it looks amazing, especially when you consider the age.

jabberslytheThis one could be considered a dragon, but for now, we’ll include it in the close category. This one is pretty gross and just awesome!

dracothDracoths are about as close as you can get to a dragon without one hundred percent being one. They rumble across the battlefield and really put the hurt on people! As we said, there are tons of dragon-like minis out there, so what’s you’re favorite?
