40k-army-lists-freshThe Glass City GT happened over the weekend with some pretty sweet Warhammer 40k army lists towards the top!

The top overall players were looking good, but we couldn’t make out Justin Curtis’ army unfortunately. So today’s top lists will be 2-4th place!

Brenton Weiss 1

Brenton was one of two players who went 5-0 and he went with two detachments of Ad Mech. The first battalion is led by a Marshal, a Dominus, and a Manipulus. The Marshal provides wound re-rolls for core units, making him a great support piece. While the Dominus provides hit re-rolls and can even heal friendly units too. The Manipulus is another source of healing and gives a single unit a buff to AP for that turn.

Skitarii Rangers fill out all 3 troops slots for a total of 45 bodies to take advantage of re-rolls and grab objectives.

Elites bring in 10 Infiltrators, which can essentially deep strike in during deployment, making them fantastic objective grabbers or distractions. Additionally, there are 5 Ruststalkers which are all in melee units with the ability to ignore enemy modifiers to its movement and gain bonuses in cover.

Fast Attacks keep it simple with a total of 6 Ironstriders running Twin Cognis Lascannons, making for some great mobile hard-hitting ranged threats.

The second detachment is led by another Marshal, once again giving the list extra access to wound re-rolls. Fast Attacks bring in some extra mobility in the form of 8 Sterylizors, which can harass units or zip around to pick off weak squads.

Lastly, there are 9 Raiders, which bring in even more mobility, doubling down on the idea to abuse winning fights and out value opponents who can match the fast threats.
