Is it Worth It?
So overall, this will save you a pretty solid amount, but again, you better want the jetbikes! If you don’t, then this really isn’t worth it to you. Either way, you are basically getting the Wraithlord and the Farseer for free.
How Many Points Is This?
So, you’re wondering how many points the Aeldari Combat Patrol box racks up, eh? Well, in Warhammer 40k 10th edition, this box hits with about 500 points. But, as you know, the tides of the Grimdark universe are ever-shifting, and with the latest points updates, that number could quickly fluctuate.
One minute, you’re ready to reclaim your galaxy, and the next, you’re recalculating your list because the points gods have decided to have some fun.

Wraithlord
Looming over its enemies, the Wraithlord is powered by the spirit of one of the craftworld’s greatest warriors. This towering behemoth can be outfitted with an array of Heavy Weapons, Assault Weapons, and even a close combat weapon, making it a highly versatile piece in the Aeldari’s battle strategy.
Farseer
Masters of foresight, the Farseers are the most enigmatic and visionary advisors on a craftworld. Even in the heat of battle, they perform their divinations by tossing intricate wraithbone runes into the air and interpreting the shifting, glowing icons as they orbit around them.
Windriders
Zipping, weaving, and darting through the skies at incredible speeds, Windriders are jetbike pilots who are completely in sync with their machines. They strike swiftly and fiercely, unleashing a barrage of shuriken fire before gracefully zooming away. Often, they annihilate their targets before the hum of their antigrav engines even gives away their presence.
Guardians
With their numbers dwindling, every Asuryani citizen must be battle-ready to defend their craftworld if needed. In peacetime, they follow artistic and civic Paths, but when duty calls, they put on their war masks and head to the battlefield. This Guardian militia can go toe-to-toe with elite Human soldiers, supporting the craftworld’s Aspect Warriors as infantry, artillery gunners, or vehicle crews.
New Aeldari Combat Patrol Rules
As you’d expect from a Combat Patrol built for close combat mayhem, the Fatebreakers comes loaded with rules to help you fly across the battlefield. The Aeldari may be all about dominating the battlefield, but they’re still Eldar at heart, rocking the same Strands of Fate army rule as before.
What sets them apart this time are new Enhancements, secondary objectives, and Stratagems that sharpen their game even more. You can get all the new Aeldari Combat Patrol rules right here.
Foresight Enhancement
Aeldari Farseers have the rare ability to glimpse the tangled threads of fate, seeing the future’s intricate web before it even unfolds. The truly skilled among them can tweak that web, guiding their allies with unnerving precision.
Once per turn, you can use the Fire Overwatch Stratagem on the Farseer’s unit for 0CP. If they’re holding an objective marker, they’ll score hits on unmodified rolls of 4+ during Overwatch. If not, they’ll still hit on unmodified 5+ rolls. Talk about foresight in action!
Stratagem
The Aeldari are so quick on their feet that they can effortlessly dodge bullets, blasts, and blades like it’s no big deal—leaving their enemies looking a little foolish. For the rest of the phase, every time your unit gets targeted, the enemy has to subtract 1 from their Hit rolls. Good luck catching them!
What to Buy Next?
With the more recent NERFS to Aeldari, you want to play a fast style and try to really take objectives all over the board. Well, you have a lot of fast units with this box, so we’d recommend keeping going with the MSU fast attack style. Also, we’d take more battleline units, as they will be quite strong moving forward in 10th Edition, and Guardians can be surprisingly decent.
You do need some more vehicles to add firepower, and you can’t go wrong with some Wraithguard to help your Wraithlord punch through the enemy.
This has a lot of value, and if you’re looking to start an Aeldari army, you can’t go wrong with this (if you want jetbikes, that is).
