The War In The Burg GT happened over the weekend and these Warhammer 40k army lists took some of the top spots!
The tournament is over and now we’re able to look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies.
War In The Burg GT: Top 40k Army Lists
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings we are able to look back at the event as if we were there ourselves.

3rd Place: Robin Roberts – Genestealer Cults
2nd Place: Larry Oliver – Tyranids
1st Place: John DeMaris – Dark Angels
John’s single detachment of Dark Angels went all-in on Elites! It was led by an Interrogator-Chaplain, which gains access to litany support, and a Librarian who has psychic support.
Jumping straight into the Elites, there are 20 Deathwing Knights, which are melee machines and incredibly durable. a Ravenwing Apothecary provides some healing on a very mobile body to zip around and top off nearby troops every round.
The list closes out with 20 Relic Terminators running Combi and Claws for a mix of shots and melee to help cull through chaff and in general be durable threats that are hard to deal with.
