1st Place: Marshall Peterson – Necrons

Marshall Peterson 1

Marshall went for a two detachment set up for his winning Necrons! Starting off is the first detachment, which only has the Silent King in it. The Silent King is a fantastic model, giving the Necrons fantastic support abilities and being pretty good in combat himself as well!

At his price point, he is simply too good for Necron players not to consider.

The rest of the list is inside a Vanguard led by Illuminor Szeras and a Command Barge. Szeras helps with reanimation protocol and has a handy anti-psyker ability. The Command Barge can help with buffing movement of nearby CORE and is also decently durable and mobile with passable weaponry for dealing out some hurt.

Jumping straight into elites are 20 Lychguard, decent melee models, and a Canoptel Reanimator, which helps with reanimation protocol and is a cheap enough model with an okay weapon to fire.

There are also 10 Skorpekh Destroyers which are great large melee models that must be dealt with, or else they will wipe out entire squads.

Fast Attacks bring in 4 Scarab Swarms for an annoyingly durable cheap model to just throw at ranges units to lock them in combat or even just soak a few wounds for the rest of the list. There are also 6 Ophydian Destroyers for some great melee threats that can deep strike in and surprise opponents.

Finally, closing out the list is a single Heavy Destroyer for just a hint of extra anti-armor shots.
