Tyranids seem unshakable from the top with another 1st place finish from the weekend, as these Warhammer 40k army lists took the top!
The tournament is final, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies.
Old Meta Still Reigns: Top 40k Army Lists Obliteration III GT
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.
3rd Place: Kasper Walle – Harlequins
2nd Place: Rasmus Valand Fredriksen – Tau
1st Place: Sveinung Noding – Tyranids
Sveinung’s Tyranid List is a battalion led by a Hive Tyrant and 2 Neurothropes. The Tyrant is a fantastic stat-stick model with the extra benefit of having a re-roll ability to help out friendly units, while the Neurothrope offers a cheap-ish psyker.
Troops bring in 10 Hormagaunts for some cheap bodies and 17 Warriors, which are quite durable and flexible units that can frontline with ease.
Elites have 3 Venomthropes and a Zoanthropes, which bring in extra mortal wound output
Heavy Support has a Tyrannofex, which is a large, slightly more range-focus model with a large wound pool. And finally, there are 2 Harpys as a mobile flying threat to deal some chip damage every turn
