Chaos Tops The Risky Rollers Open 40k Army Lists

CSM proves they can win with a 5-0 at The Risky Rollers Open from the weekend, as these Warhammer 40k army lists took the top!

The tournament is final, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies.

3rd Place: Jason Horne – Tyranids

2nd Place: Michael Hamilton – Iron Hands

1st Place: Dean Sinnbeck – Chaos Space Marines

Dean’s winning list starts with a single Creations of Bile battalion led by a Daemon Prince, Dark Apostle, and a Master of Possession. The DP is a fantastic model with serious hitting power and a re-roll aura which can help in a pinch.

The Dark Apostle and Master of Possession both help through support abilities via psychic powers and prayers.

Troops keep it simple with a swathe of 30 cultists to soak wounds and simply fill the role slot.

Elites start with a 10-man squad of Terminators, which serve as dual-purpose threats that are durable and great in both melees and ranged fights.

There is also a six-man Berzerker squad for some decent melee threats, along with a total of 10 Possessed for even more melee-centric bodies.

Fast Attacks bring in 8 Bikers for mobile ranged bodies and a 5-man raptor squad for a bit more mobility in the list.

Finally, there is a separate detachment for Abaddon, arguably one of the best chaos models in general, serving as a near-primarch threat in combat and granting fantastic support to the faction.
