If you’re planning on going with the most fervent ladies in the galaxy, you need to get good at painting them, and this tutorial will help you tackle the steps without much hassle!

Speed Painting Sisters of battle 2The main thing you need to do first is get a good base layer primer with black. This will make the base of the model, so get good coverage.

Step 1:

Speed Painting Sisters of battle 3Next, he mixes the leftover black from the spray with Stegadaon Green in the airbrush. He then does a shade from the top-down with that color. Next, he throws Mephiston Red onto a brush and hits all the robes and cloaks with it.

Step 2:

Speed Painting Sisters of battle 4Next up is the silver; he paints the entire gun with it as he’s trying to go fast here. He also does all the other bits he wants metallic here; remember, this is for speed painting and will look good in bulk, so don’t worry too much about tons of extra detail.  After that, he does the helmet and all the little detail with Ulthuan Grey.

How To Paint Sisters of Battle Step 3:

Speed Painting Sisters of battle 5Then he adds some Nuln Oil to pretty much the entire model. You could stop at this point and have decent-looking sisters. However, we’re going to add some more details.

Step 4:

Speed Painting Sisters of battle 6To start highlights, he goes back and highlights all the white with the grey from before and moves up to a pure white. Then, he highlights the red with Evil Suns Scarlett to just add an extra layer. He then pops the model off onto the base he prepared for it and paints the base rim black.
