new-rules-necronNew Necrons Army of Renown 40k rules have been spotted has been spotted; check out what the new Annihilation Legion force can do!

It feels like it’s been a little while since we just saw a single army or renown, but it’s nice for an older codex like the Necrons to grab something like this. This army is pretty crazy, as there are some pretty big restrictions on what you can take, but it’s definitely interesting!

New Necrons Army of Renown Annihilation Legion 40k Rules Spotted!

The rules were spotted over on Imgur. Let’s take a closer look at the new rules!

Annihilation Legion RulesAs we said, there are some big restrictions for this army as you can only take Destroyer Cult, Flayed Ones, and Canoptek Plasmacyte units. Big units of Flayed Ones get Objective Secured, Hexmark Destroyers are HQ and some other benefits. However, the big thing here, if you are fighting against units below starting strength, you get all kinds of bonuses.

Annihilation Legion Rules 2The trait gives exploding 6’s for two hits, which is nice. The Chariot makes it so you can never be wounded on something worse than a four. The Scythe is super strong as the excess damage carries over! That means this could easily rip through one or two wound units.

Annihilation Legion Rules 3These are probably the biggest benefits of this army. They are mainly about getting your army to combat, and destroying units when you get there! Plus, being able to fall back and charge is really sweet and can really take your opponent by surprise.

Annihilation Legion Rules 4For one 1 CP being able to advance and charge is just awesome, if you combine it with the extra move protocol, you’ll really be able to cover all kinds of distances and get a charge off. Then, adding damage for 2 CP is pretty strong as well.

Annihilation Legion Rules 5Being able to bring back a Canoptek Plasmacyte unit that has been destroyed for a single CP is pretty awesome, but you can only use that stratagem once. A moment of Clarity is nice, as you won’t have that many units with ObSec, but this is more about destroying the enemy than getting dumb objectives!
