What To Expect From Warhammer Day 2022 Previews!

Warhammer 40,000 turns 35 next month, and we’re packing this year’s Warhammer Day – the annual celebration of the world’s best miniatures games – with goodies from the last three-and-a-half decades. Festivities kick off on Saturday the 8th of October with a special live Warhammer preview dedicated to all things Warhammer 40,000 and Kill Team.

For Warhammer 40k, we expect to see tons of new minis for both Imperial Guard and World Eaters. We saw some leaked pictures of Imperial Guard, but GW hasn’t said much after that. But there are tons of rumors still floating out there for what else we could see (you can check out all the IG rumors here).

Then, for World Eaters, all we’ve seen is just the one squad. That means there could be tons and tons of reworked models. We hope they don’t stop at a squad or two and go big for the reveals!

What Else We May See for Warhammer 40k

For what’s coming next, well, we have been hearing about Emperor’s Children for a really long time, there’s been plenty of rumors about new Space Marine 2.0 books, but the biggest shocker could (emphasis on could) be 10th edition coming at some point in 2023.

While that rumor has had very mixed reviews, don’t be too shocked if GW were to at least mention it. However, Space Marines could very well take center stage with new minis and possibly a few new chapter codexes.

Entitled Bayard’s Revenge, this astounding model features an Emperor’s Champion triumphing over a mighty Ork Nob. It’s an incredible miniature to add to your collection, an amazing painting challenge, or a splendid centrepiece for a Black Templars force. And what’s more, it’s based on an iconic piece of Warhammer 40,000 artwork.

You’ll be able to pre-order this incredible duel from the 8th of October from the Games Workshop webstore, or you can pick one up from your local shop between the 15th and 23rd.

Last but not least, for 40k, we will have this awesome commemorative mini!

New Kill Team Preview & Giveaway

There will also be a big Kill Team preview, and we just recently heard about a rumor that Kasrkin will be taking one side of the box and Necrons will be the other. While these are still rumors, it would make sense to get out a wanted Imperial Guard unit in a Kill Team box; that way, it would drive sales for it.

Hopefully, not too long after that, they will be released on their own.

Also, we know there will be three new Kill Team boxes from the roadmap, so we could easily see a big new reveal that doesn’t have any armies we know about!
