New AoS Battleforces, Warcry, BB, & More: Pricing & Links

Keep in mind they are releasing the Battleforces as two separate waves this time around, so don’t expect to see all the 40k boxes until at least next week.

However, the Cadia Stands Army Box just hit stores on Black Friday, November 25th, 2022, so you might want to look for it soon if you’re considering it

Hold onto your hats because the Christmas Battleforce rush is nearly here, alongside an avalanche of Warcry releases that include a new boxed set and numerous returning warbands.

Here’s the lineup and contents of the new Age of Sigmar Battleforces that are up for pre-order first.

Daughters of Khaine: Khainite Slaughter-Coven Retail Price: $210

This set includes the following multipart plastic models:
– 1x Slaughter Queen on Cauldron of Blood, which can also be built as a Bloodwrack Shrine or Hag Queen on Cauldron of Blood

Curseling Retail Price: $35

Next up, the two new character models from the Arcane Cataclysm box are releasing separately! Unfortunately, these releases are delayed in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Curseling, Eye of Tzeentch – a powerful warrior melded with a daemonic entity. This eyeless Tretchlet erupts from the Curseling’s exposed flesh with a mane and tail of extravagant feathers, its twisted arms wielding a sorcerous staff and gripping its host’s head as though directing their gaze. The Curseling’s ornate armour is a testament to their martial skill, featuring delicate scales and Tzeentchian eye-symbols, with a curved blazing sword held ready in their remaining hand.

This kit comprises 10 plastic components, and is supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

The Curseling is just a wild-looking miniature in general, but he fits right in alongside the Disciples of Tzeentch models.

Scinari Enlightener Retail Price: $33.50

This multipart plastic kit builds a Scinari Enlightener, a skilled master of mystical wisdom. This mage is posed floating above the ground, robes billowing behind them, with the burning Rune of Enthlai held in one hand. They wield a long, elegant crescent staff that can sear enemies with bolts of light, and have an Enlightener blade strapped to their back, ready to deliver a flurry of expert blows in combat. The kit includes a choice of two heads – one helmeted with an impressive crest, and a bare head with long braided hair and a delicate diadem.

The model itself is pretty cool but nothing too crazy, honestly. Still, nothing wrong with getting a new miniature for your army.

The first expansion for Warcry is here with the Sundered Fate box set featuring two new warbands! Unfortunately, all of the Warcry products this week are delayed in Japan.

Warcry: Sundered Fate Retail Price: $185

The stone-skinned cultists of the Jade Obelisk are on a mission to deface every statue and eviscerate every still-beating heart in the Gnarlwood, an act of desecration with which the stealthy scaled guardians in the Hunters of Huanchi take umbrage.

This boxed set contains:

– 64-page softcover Warband Tome: Stealth and Stone – with background, artwork, rules, quests, and campaigns for both of the two warbands in the box

– Jade Obelisk – 10 sinister stonecutters dedicated to casting down the idols of their enemies. These multipart plastic miniatures include 1x Nephrite Priestess, 1x Obelisk Bearer, 1x Idolarc, 3x Desecrators, and 4x Defacers with a variety of weapons

– Hunters of Huanchi – 13 Seraphon hunters who stalk the ruins of Talaxis. These multipart plastic miniatures include 1x Chameleon Skink Alpha, 1x Huanchi’s Claw, 1x Chameleon Skink Hornblower, 3x Terrawings, and 7x Chameleon Skinks with a variety of weapons

The new Hunters of Huanchi are packed with new scaly miniatures, while the Cultists of the Jade Obelisk are a new take on the traditional Chaos warband.

Ravaged Lands: Gnarlwood Watchcamp $112 (Webstore Only)

Available separately this week are the warbands from the Heart of Ghur box set, along with the terrain as well.

This multipart plastic scenery kit allows you to fight battles set in the carnivorous forests of Ghur, including the ruins of a Seraphon structure, with 10 pieces of modular terrain, including:
– 1x Watchtower
– 2x Gnarloaks with Rib Platforms
– 2x Rope Bridges
– 5x Obstacles with different designs, such as Ribcages, Ruins, Palisades, and Shattered Posts

These terrain pieces can be gluelessly linked in a variety of configurations, allowing you to adjust your Gnarloaks and Rope Bridges to suit each game. They are also fully compatible with other Gnarlwood terrain kits, allowing you to build, rearrange, and expand a sprawling forest for games of Warcry or Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

The box also includes a Gnarlwood battlefield mat – a double-sided 22″ x 30″ folding game board, the perfect size for games of Warcry. There are four dice packs coming, each themed around a Warband from the current season – the Horns of Hashut, the Rotmire Creed, the Hunters of Huanchi, and the Jade Obelisk. With a warband symbol for a 6 and three colour combos in each set, these dice are perfect for when you need to rub in just how lucky you were to have rolled a quad

Lastly, dice packs for the current season of Warcry are also here. Choose from these four dice packs to customize your games in the Heart of Ghur!

This is the week of expansion for specialist games, with both Warcry and Blood Bowl getting one each. Unfortunately, due to delays, these sets will not be available yet in Japan.
