Here’s a Second Wave of New Horus Heresy Contemptor Upgrades

GW revealed the second wave of new Horus Heresy Contemptor Dreadnought upgrades for 12 legions- check it out!

Well, it looks like we will be getting more than just normal marine upgrades! Very similar whole models are available on Forge World right now, but they are in resin, and from the sounds of it, these will be resin upgrades for the current plastic model kits.

This covers the rest of the legions, so now everyone can join in on the fun! The first wave was only for six legions, so it’s nice to see the rest all at once.

Second Wave of New Horus Heresy Contemptor Dreadnought Upgrades

The upgrades were revealed in this Warhammer Community post.

These packs each offer a custom resin torso and head, engineered to fit right into the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit and instantly add a splash of heraldry. They’re an excellent way to spruce up your favourite war machine, or create a whole bodyguard of stompy, smashy, highly-decorated walkers to march alongside your Vindicators and Typhon Siege Tanks.

The models are already pretty sweet, and when you add more heraldry on top, they only get better!

On the Loyalist side, the Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Iron Hands, Ultramarines, Salamanders, and Raven Guard all crack open the art supplies for their Dreadnoughts.

The kits aren’t the craziest thing in the world, but if you want an easy conversion that shows off your legionary pride, these make it easy.

They are joined by the Night Lords, World Eaters, Death Guard, Thousand Sons, Word Bearers, and Alpha Legion in the Traitor corner.

Considering the first six went on pre-order so soon after we saw the reveal, we hope the same thing happens for the rest! Waiting for new bits is never fun.
