Arks of Omen: Vashtorr $60 ($90 Special Edition GW Direct Only)

Arks of Omen Vashtorr

The third instalment of Arks of Omen zeroes in on the siege of the Rock, as Vastorr searches for a powerful component in his diabolical goal. The Dark Angels aren’t taking this invasion lightly, and rally their forces as a mysterious third party enters the slaughter.

This is the crucial next stage in the overarching narrative of Warhammer 40,000, containing The Rock Besieged, a Boarding Actions campaign with eight new narrative missions telling the story of this climactic raid. There are also additional Boarding Action rules for Chaos Daemons, Necrons, Tyranids, Genestealer Cults, the Death Guard, and the Adeptus Mechanicus.

New rules are always a good thing; shake up how you play and get some new variety!

Wrath of the Soul Forge King: $210

Wrath of the Soul Forge King

Recreate the pivotal moments of Vashtorr’s invasion of the rock with this jam-packed battlebox. This is the first place you’ll be able to get the models for Vashtorr the Arkifane and Supreme Grand Master Azrael.

Vashtorr the Arkifane and Supreme Grand Master Azrael

This set also contains a skittering Venomcrawler, two hulking Obliterators, and 10 Chaos Cultists who are waaay out of their depth on Team Vashtorr, facing down 10 Intercessors and five Deathwing Terminators who make up Azrael’s honour guard. You also get two Dark Angels Primaris Upgrade frames and a set of 155 Dark Angels transfers.

These two models are clearly the star of the show and are sure to dominate on any list they are in!

Vashtorr Dice Set: $35

Vashtorr Dice Set

Tired of supporting the same old Chaos Gods? Weary of the big four getting all the attention? Throw your lot in with Vashtorr instead, with this pack of 15 dice coloured in black and brass, featuring his own special symbol on the 6 face.

Arks of Omen: Vashtorr Bundle Bonus Art (GW Direct)

Those who buy Arks of Omen: Vashtorr, Wrath of The Soul Forge King, and the Vashtorr Dice Set together, can get all of them in a bundle with an exclusive art print – while stocks last.

Who doesn’t like freebies?

Boarding Patrol: Adeptus Mechanicus $140

Boarding Patrol Adeptus Mechanicus

This versatile Boarding Patrol comprises a Tech-Priest Dominus and their loyal bodyguard of 10 Skitarii Vanguard, who can also be built as Rangers. You’ll also find a cadre of five Sicarian Infiltrators – who can also be built as Ruststalkers – and a trio of heavily armed Kataphron Destroyers – which can also be built as Breachers.

Ad Mech has a pretty dedicated fanbase, and these are all decent selections, so if you’re considering them, this might be a great entry point!

Boarding Patrol: Chaos Daemons $130

Boarding Patrol Chaos Daemons

Even the Chaos Gods have designs on the treasures and opportunities brought by the Arks of Omen, tearing holes in the warp and unleashing packs of ravenous daemons into their claustrophobic depths. This Khorne-flavoured Boarding Patrol packs in 10 Flesh Hounds and 10 Bloodletters led by Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance.

This might be “Chaos Daemons,” but it almost seems like it is just Khrone! It almost sounds like a new cereal…

Boarding Patrol: Death Guard $115

Boarding Patrol Death Guard

The sons of Mortarion are ready to fumigate their local voidcraft with this bloated Boarding Patrol led by a putrid Lord of Virulence, his three sworn Deathshroud Terminators, and 10 incredibly sturdy Plague Marines who benefit from a corrupted cornucopia of weapon options.

The Death Guard seem to always be sticklers who are hard to take out, and this Combat Patrol doubles down on that with some great Terminator Armor models.

Boarding Patrol: Genestealer Cults $125

Boarding Patrol Genestealer Cults

Genestealer Cults propagate across the galaxy by stowing away in transport vessels and settling in for the long haul, or forcefully commandeering ships. This skilled insurgent team is made up of a Kelemorph, an Abominant, five Aberrants, and 10 Acolyte Hybrids – who can also be built as Hybrid Metamorphs.

GSC has seen some high-ranking results here and there, meaning if you can “git gud” you can probably do really well with this faction!

Imperial Knights Dice Set and Chaos Knights Dice Set: $35

Imperial Knights Dice Set and Chaos Knights Dice Set

Represent your chosen steeds in battle – be they Noble or Fallen – with one of these sets of 15 dice. Both feature a helmed icon on the 6 face, and Imperial Knights get a two-tone blue dice with silvery pips, while the Chaos Knights get a two-tone red dice with golden pips.

Dice can be a bit pricey, but they are an easy way to show off some faction pride if you’re into that!

Typhon Heavy Siege Tank: $115

Typhon Heavy Siege Tank

Bring even bigger guns to bear in the Age of Darkness with the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank. Designed to suit the battleplans of Perturabo himself, this modified Land Raider sports a frankly massive dreadhammer siege cannon that can reduce buildings to rubble and flatten whole squads.

This is the only Horus Heresy release this week that is plastic, so keep that in mind!

Cypher: Lord of The Fallen (Limited Edition) $65

Cypher Lord of The Fallen (Limited Edition)

Cypher is a massive character with huge lore implications making this book a huge thing for those curious about the mysteries around him.

Ahriman: Eternal: $16

Ahriman Eternal

The fourth instalment of John French’s Ahriman series will be available in paperback next week. The powerful sorcerer searches for Necron time-altering technology to undo past wrongs, while Aeldari Harlequins nip at his heels and discord blossoms in his ranks in Ahriman: Eternal.
