The Monsta-Killaz Kruleboyz are coming to Warcry accompanied by the new Skaven Skabbik’s Plaguepack for Warhammer Underworlds, both for Age of Sigmar.
The Games Workshop Not Warhammer 40,000 Preview was on July 4th weekend, with reveals for five games and again, definitely not 40k.
Games Workshop Not Warhammer 40,000 Preview Online
The new edition of a little game called Warhammer 40,000 has just been released, with revamped rules and a massive box filled with new miniatures. It’s all quite exciting! This release has garnered a lot of attention, but believe it or not, there are other Warhammer games out there. It’s now time to lavish some much-needed attention onto these other systems and settings, from the Mortal Realms to the Age of Darkness, with a jam-packed Not Warhammer 40,000 Preview – coming this weekend!
Starting at 9am EST this is one of the better times for a preview across the world we’ve seen in a while. In contrast, the west coast of the USA will have to get up quite early.
Monsta-Killaz Kruleboyz Warcry Warband
Here is the latest on Monsta-Killaz Kruleboyz Warcry Warband from Warhammer Community.
A hoary, trophy-laden Beastnob leads each Monsta-killa band, bringing years of experience, a bag of tricks, and a terrible trident. These orruks take pride in trapping their quarry alive – but know better than to take on Ghur’s most ornery alpha predators as fully-grown adults. Instead, they plot to snatch their eggs and grab their young, stealing away with more easily-tamed offspring.
Such plans rely on the Kruleboyz’ love of traps and duplicitous tactics, as they kick off a kunnin’ diversion while disposable Klutcha-grots – or tamed Gnarlwood Howlaz – clamber into a nest and fish out eggy treasure. The rambunctious Bawla Boys are particularly well-versed at drawing attention, slamming out uneven beats and hollering a mix of animal cries to distract and deafen monsters.
As the down-and-dirty Kruleboyz aim to get the best of opponents their Holwer monkey-like companions act as distractions making it even easier to overcome foes.
Skabbik’s Plaguepack Warhammer Underworlds Warband
Here is the latest on the Warhammer Underworlds Skaven Skabbik’s Plaguepack warband from Warhammer Community.
Skabbik’s Plaguepack are a group of disease worshippers from the Clans Pestilens – malodorous monks known for their terrifying fanaticism and poor hygiene, even amongst the fairly foetid Skaven. They believe that a key ingredient to one of the 13 Great Plagues can be found in the Wyrdhollow, and will stop at nothing to seize it, complete their brew, and turn great tracts of the Mortal Realms into a paradise of rotten mulch.
Everyone loves Rat-men, and it would have been nice to see some model updates for the Skaven proper, but these are still fantastic minis.
Skabbik Plagueseeker leads his minions Rabidius Skench, Itchitt, Poxlix, Rikkit, and the adorable rat Skritter in a quest to find this rancid reagent of rumour. These rats are so noisome that their top fighters bear the befouler keyword, staggering fighters adjacent to them at the start of each round.
Stagger can be quite strong, so doing it consistently can be very powerful.
These rotten rodents can make a territory Corrupted by having two or more friendly fighters inside it, or by seating a befouler on an objective in that territory. If two or more territories are Corrupted, then all of Skabbik’s Plaguepack becomes Inspired.
There are plenty of odious Objectives that the Plaguepack can score. Infected Corpse Pile requires two territories to be Corrupted and fed with the bodies of two out-of-action opponents, while the aptly-named Befouled simply needs a befouler to take out an enemy fighter – the perfect invitation to slam Rabidius’ rusty Plague Censer into someone’s face for three damage.
Spreading corruption is perfect on theme with Skaven and their Nurgle-y ways.

If things do start to go askew, and Skabbik is taken out, the Skaven attitude toward the chain of command means that Itchitt can simply become the Voice of the Great Corruptor. He’ll convince his new followers he was the one in charge all along, with the added bonus of being able to corrupt territory with an action.
Stepping up to the plate and assuming command is every Rat-mans dream!
