Heavy Allocations Hamstring New 40k Kill Team Releases

Games Workshop has hit stores with heavy allocations once again, this time for every one of the new 40k Kill Teams being released.

It looks like allocations are back again for new Warhammer 40k releases. Considering we haven’t seen any 40k releases for weeks, these have been pretty hyped up, but actually getting them is not going to be easy.

Allocations have also been going on for seven months now, so at this point; it seems to officially be a trend from Games Workshop headed into the end of summer.

Fellgor Ravagers: 3 per store
Hand of the Archon: 2 per store
Inquisitorial Agents: 3 per store
Hearthkyn Salvagers: 2 per store

This just feels bad, considering all of these were paywalled in the bigger Kill Team boxes, and now that you can get them on their own, they are most likely going to sell out in no time.

To make things a little worse, all the other miniatures coming out this week are direct from GW’s webstore only, meaning who knows how many will be made.

At this point, though, with seven months of allocations, we don’t see it getting much better. So if you have your eye on any individual unit or character releases, you better get to your store early or try to score them on the webstore before they are gone.

Let’s hope GW does better for the rest of the 10th Edition releases because this is quite discouraging for stores moving forward.
