Morvenn Vahl: Spear of Faith
Vahl strikes out to the cardinal world of Ophelia VII to save it from the vicious warlord Kol Rakhul – also known as the Death of Saints – and her novel is coming first in a jaw-dropping Mega Edition release packed with exclusive extras.
This has a ton of extras and is just a great collector’s edition if you love Vahl!
The Art of the Horus Heresy
This visual guide to the Age of Darkness charts the Horus Heresy series across 200+ pages of full-colour cover illustrations, from the hellish betrayal on Isstvan III to the climactic Siege of Terra. Series artist Neil Roberts also adds detailed commentary and reflections of the series as a whole, granting extra insight into the amazing artwork created for such an epic series.
The Horus Heresy has so much fantastic art, and this book is the place to eye up most of it.
The Ghosts of Barak-Minoz
When one of his old crew presumed dead is found unexpectedly intact, Drekki soon sets course for an even grander caper in The Arkanaut’s Oath. You see, Evtorr might seem none the worse for wear, but he’s certainly now stark-raving mad – and his babbling about the fabled Dead Air might just lead the Aelsling’s crew to the lost sky-city of Barak-Minoz.
Take to the skies and travel the AoS realms with Drekki.
Ahriman: Undying
Ahriman has finally got his hands on the Necron device known as the Key of Infinity, but his moment of triumph is solitary – spurned by his allies amid the ruins of his grand ambitions. But he will not give up, and he must tackle the ghosts of his past if he’s ever to find salvation in his future.
Ahriman is such an interesting character and always makes for a fun read.
Lazarus: Enmity’s Edge
Master Lazarus of the Dark Angels is already a renowned warrior and leader, as a hero of the Psychic Awakening and the first Primaris Space Marine to enter the secretive Inner Circle. His legend expands with his first full-length novel – Lazarus: Enmity’s Edge by Gary Kloster.
If you love Dark Angels, this has to be near the top of the list for new books to read.
Renegades: Lord of Excess
In Lord of Excess by Rich McCormick, the violent and hedonistic warlord Xantine, leader of the Adored, finally has a chance to prove himself a true son of Fulgrim when his reavers come across a world rich with valuable rejuvenat treatments and cut off from the Imperium by roiling warp storms.
Rejuvenation treatments seem like a pretty great way to win Fulgrim’s praise.
The Infinite and The Divine – Special Edition
This new Special Edition of the classic novel is presented in a beautiful silver leather-effect cover with embossed green details, sporting printed page edges and a lime green bookmark ribbon. Each copy is numbered and signed by the author.
If you love the book, you might as well get the special edition to show it off.
Eidolon: The Auric Hammer
In the closing days of the Horus Heresy, Eidolon: The Auric Hammer finds the notorious warrior far from his Primarch’s grace, carving a determined path towards Terra where the final confrontation between Loyalist and Traitor awaits. First he’ll have to find his way off Tatricala – a haunted world dogged by the ghosts of his past – as the wiles of a warp-spawned entity coax him ever closer to their clutches.
The Horus Heresy Character series is always fun to read, and Eidolon should be a great addition to it.
The Dead Kingdom
Being an immortal Soulblight vampire is a tough gig, and doubly so for Cado Ezechiar – the once-king whose kingdom was burned, and who carries the scars of its loss for eternity. His hunt for the Chaos cult responsible continues in The Dead Kingdom by John French, and we’ve got a special message from the author.
This is the second full-length novel in the series began by The Hollow King, and The Dead Kingdom raises the stakes as Cado’s travels take him to Lethis – capital of the Realm of Death – and an unwanted allegiance with Neferata, the Mortarch of Blood.
The Hollow King – Special Edition
Speaking of The Hollow King, Cado’s debut Black Library novel is coming back in a Special Edition to celebrate the release of its sequel.
Well, if you need to catch up (to get to the novel above) or just want a great-looking book, this is for you.
Orks Get A New Mini To Match Black Library Title Appearances
The Bad Moons Boss Ufthak Blackhawk is back from his adventures in Brutal Kunnin’, and he’s once again up to his big green neck in trouble. But before we get to the trials and tribulations of his brand new novel, we’ve got an awesome miniature to see.
Talk about a sweet mini! A massive gun mounted on top of a loyal squig and a giant hammer to boot? Ufthak is here to lay down the hurt!
Packing his ded ‘urty Snazzhammer and his loyal squig Princess to balance his blasta on, Ufthak is a beast of a Warboss who lives up to his reputation as the ‘Gargantsmasha’.
A squig-delivered weapon has to be the best thing since sliced bread, and we are sure Ufthak agrees.
He makes a great thematic stand-in for any regular Bad Moons Warboss, or he’ll also be getting Legends rules if you want to include this particular Ork in your army. That’s not all from Ufthak – our unusually cunning Warboss is also starring in Da Big Dakka, his second full-length novel and sequel to Brutal Kunnin’.
Ork books are pretty good and Brutal Kunnin’ was great! So this story following that should also be pretty dope!
