How to Magnetize the Primaris Invictor Tactical Warsuit

invictor Warsuit primaris space marines magnetizeHere’s how to assemble and magnetize both versions (including the pistol arm) of the Primaris Invictor Tactical Warsuit: unboxing and build!

Back when this kit came out, Rob did an unboxing to show all the details and how to magnetize it, but we wanted to revisit it now that the Magnet Baron has a kit made specifically for it!

Let’s jump into how you can magnetize yours and get the most out of the kit.

Primaris Invictor Tactical WarsuitThe kit came out in 2019, but it’s a little tricky to magnetize the whole thing, so let’s get into it!

Primaris Invictor Tactical Warsuit Unboxing & Instructions

Primaris Invictor Tactical Warsuit

First up, we fold the pages back on the Primaris Invictor Tactical Warsuit assembly instructions to see what we are getting ourselves into. This new kit comes with three sprues and has 116 bits with nine pages of assembly instructions.

Magnetize Invictor WarsuitThe weapons are different assemblies, meaning you should be able to magnetize them easily (hint, you can). Just one thing to be really careful about with this kit: there are a ton of do not glue parts if you want all the moving bits; it’s just something to look out for.

Sprues:

As far as quality, this kit looks amazing. This new Dreadnought kit has some crisp and hard lines and is full of details.

Magnetization & Build:

Magnetize Invictor Warsuit 2Now, onto the important part. To start, the torso will take 2 6mm x 2mm magnets, and it’s pretty easy to get them in the right spots. However, the tubes on the back are quite fragile, so just be careful when putting those on.

Magnetize Invictor Warsuit 3Luckily, you don’t have to worry about magnetizing the arms as they are slotted in, so one less thing to worry about!

Magnetize Invictor Warsuit 4You can, however, magnetize the powerfist arm to hold the pistol with a 1/4×1/16″ magnet (same for the powerfist on its own as well), but some people don’t, as you can glue the gun on the side and just have the normal powerfist on there.

Magnetize Invictor Warsuit 5For the guns, you will have to jam a little bit of sprue where the cog piece should be and then glue the 5mm x 2mm magnet on top of that. You will have to do this for each weapon, so you will need three magnets in total.

Magnetize Invictor Warsuit 6If you want to get really crazy, you can put a magnet in the hip and a tiny magnet on the pistol (sizes below) to always have all the options!

Built Model:

Magnetize Invictor Warsuit 7This is honestly a really cool kit, and you can do a ton with the magnetization and movement of this model. Now, if you want to get all the magnets you need in one buy, check out the kit from the Magnet Baron below.
