The final chapter of the Siege of Terra, new Blood Bowl, Forge World, and last week’s 40k MTO releases are on pre-order this week!
Games Workshop has revealed all the new releases coming to pre-order on Saturday, January 13th, at 1 PM Eastern time here in the States.
GW Reveals New Siege of Terra, 40k & Forge World Pre-Order
The first set of 2024 pre-orders have been announced. Here are the details for all the new Forge World resin and Black Library Siege of Terra pre-order releases with a street date of January 27th, 2024.
It’s the first Sunday Preview of 2024, and while we’re all easing into the process of remembering to write “2024” rather than “2023”, you can pre-order this selection of products for Age of Sigmar, Blood Bowl, and Black Library from next Saturday.
Skitter Stab-Stab
Skitter Stab-Stab proves that you really can take those transferable skills and make them work in diverse arenas. Initially trained as a Clan Eshin assassin, this verminous varmint now plies his trade on the gridiron. He’s fairly handy with a ball but has become notorious for particularly violent tackles that leave his opponents mortally indisposed. This star player can join Favoured of… and Underworld Challenge teams, is made from Forge World resin, and comes with rules in the box.
Our favorite part about new Blood Bowl characters is that when they don’t have a football in the kit, they make for good stand-ins or options for other RPG games!
Grashnak Blackhoof
The sledgehammer to Skitter’s scalpel, Grashnak Blackhoof is a brutal bruiser who comes out on top of blocks against even the strongest players on the pitch. His horns let him plough through the sturdiest of cages, disrupting scoring plans left and right. Though dotted with Khornate motifs, Grashnak is a free agent for any Favoured of… team. He is cast in Forge World resin and comes with rules.
Just like the Skaven, this new minotaur doesn’t have anything specific to Blood Bowl making him a decent stand-in mini if you paint him correctly!
Siege of Terra: The End and the Death: Volume III (Collector’s Edition) Pre-Order
The third volume of Dan Abnett’s epic climax to the Siege of Terra, and the whole of the Horus Heresy itself, is almost here! The third and final volume will be available to pre-order next Saturday, and this massive tome brings the whole saga to its grim and inevitable conclusion.
Just like previous Siege of Terra books, The End and the Death Volume III will be released as a special edition with a leather-effect cover, featuring a metal icon, gold foil cover text, gilt page edges, and a red ribbon bookmark. Inside you’ll find full colour art of the regular cover, black and white character art, as well as the author’s signature. These are limited to just 2,500 copies.
The end is nigh, witness the capstone climax of the conflict between Chaos, Horus, and the Emperor!
Siege of Terra: The End and the Death: Volume III Pre-Order
The final confrontation draws near. The Emperor will fight his son and the Siege of Terra will end. This dramatic denouement will also be available to pre-order in hardback, eBook, and audiobook formats.
If the collectors is sold out, or you just want to read the book without a higher price tag, there will also be the standard options available.
The Horus Heresy: Siege of Terra Bookmark
Making your way through the whole Horus Heresy series (Siege of Terra included) is no mean feat, but with this stylish enamel and metal bookmark, you’ll never lose your place in one of these action-packed tales.
Keep track of your current page in-between sessions in style.
Warhammer 40l Made to Order – Available until the 15th of January
The archives are opening for a brief period in January, and a range of classic Warhammer 40,000 models will be available to order. Two Necron Overlords – one with a staff of light, the other with a resurrection orb – will be joined by a classic Cryptek, as well as an upgrade kit to turn a plastic Destroyer into a Destroyer Lord. All four of these kits are resin, as is Huron Blackheart, the opportunistic Chaos Space Marines master of the Red Corsairs. If you’re more into machines, a metal Iron Warriors Warsmith will make an excellent Chaos Lord or Exalted Champion.
A host of resin miniatures originally released by Forge World will also be available on Made to Order. Space Marine commanders can add a range of resin heroes to their armies, including Lugft Huron, Chapter Master of the Astral Claws, from before he fled into the Maelstrom. You’ll also find Sevrin Loth of the Red Scorpions along with his Honour Guard (not pictured), and more Red Scorpions in the Regents of the Ordon Rift, comprising Casan Sabius and Sirae Karagon, complete with a diorama base. The Land Speeder Tempest, meanwhile, will add some fast firepower to any Space Marine collection.
Necron Overlords can enhance their forces with some seriously heavy firepower in the form of Necron Sentry Pylon armed with a terrifying death ray, as well as a set of singularity generators – a weapon option for the Seraptek Heavy Construct.
All of these items will be available from the 6th January, and are Made to Order, delivered within 180 days.
