You can call him little, but a new Horus Aximand Miniature is here to show you just how good of a commander he really is!
“Little Horus” is a very well-known character in Horus Heresy, so it makes sense that he finally gets a new model! As Horus’s personal advisor, he must not only be a great commander but also incredibly loyal.
Lead the Heresy With the New Horus Aximand Miniature!
Here is the latest on the Horus Aximand miniature from Warhammer Community.
Despite his epithet, Little Horus is far from small – a consummate leader who looks after his troops, one who fell uneasily into treachery. He just happens to look an awful lot like his gene-sire, though he needed to have his handsome face regrafted after an attack by Hibou Khan of the White Scars nearly brought him down at Dwell.
He is armed with his personal power sword Mourn-it-all and a banestrike bolter, as well as a Castigatus combat shield capable of detonating its defensive energies into a pulse of aggressive force. What’s more, you can build him with or without his helmet.
The model looks pretty awesome, and with two head options, you can choose whether to paint a face! Like most of the HH characters, this will be in resin, but if you play HH, you should be used to modeling resin by now.
Rules
His personal Little Horus Warlord Trait reflects his unwillingness to die despite the many grievous wounds he sustained over the Horus Heresy.
Getting to stand up after death is always a great ability! Plus, he gives you an extra reaction in the shooting phase, so he’s pretty strong overall.
Meanwhile his Haunted special rule adds a little spice to any climactic confrontation with a certain Garviel Loken…
If you find yourself in a battle with Garviel, make sure you get Aximand to fight him! If he slays him, you get extra victory points.
The new Horus Aximand Miniature is a must-have for any Horus Heresy hobbyist. With his incredible leadership skills and loyalty to Horus, he is probably also a worthy addition to any army.
