This Patreon is pretty new but already has a ton of great files! It started out as a side project, but as his love for the terrain grew, so did the project. How does it work?
On every 4th of the month, we release models through a “Monthly Package” post containing a download link. The download link on this post will only be available until the end of the month. During the month, I will post polls and show work-in-progress leading up to the following month.
What do I get each month?
Terrain! Oh, and Terrain. By signing up for a month of the GrimDark Terrain Patreon you will gain access to the current month’s model pack. A model pack of this Patreon will contain monthly pre-supported terrain upgrades for the existing GW range. Every month you will get a thematic selection of:
- wall sections of various themes
- roof upgrades
- scatter terrain thingies
- fortifications, walls, turrets
- gun emplacements
- landing pads
- and whatever the Patreons vote on
Personally, I am a huge fan of modularity, especially when building terrain. So every file that I will release will be tested, printed, and checked for modularity. That means, that you will be able to mix the parts from this Patreon with the existing plastic buildings you might have. As the collection grows you will be able to mix and match all the existing pieces and build fantastic and huge buildings.
As Patreon will grow and meet goals, I will reward patrons with extra content on top of the standard monthly offerings.
GrimDark Terrain January Patreon
January is fortifications month! The files are already ready to download, so if you go sign up, you can grab everything above! Let’s see what they’re up to for the first part of the year.
Roadmap:
- In January we’ll be looking at a lot of different fortress walls, stacked walls, round walls, corners, towers, and parapets. You can mix and match these fortress parts and build your own city walls
- February the topic will be “Guns & Windows” with all sorts of guns, gun-balconies and windows for both the existing range of Adeptus Titanicus plastic buildings (shown above) and
- In March we will engage in trench warfare and and release the GDT Bunker Network and some trenches
