Test Paint Schemes on 3D Model STL Files with Color Minis

color minis appColor Minis is a really awesome app where you can test all kinds of paint schemes on 3D minis, no need for test minis anymore!

The app takes all the guesswork out of what paint scheme you want to use! They have a catalog of some really amazing 3D printable minis to pick from and basically any color you could want. Even if they don’t have your exact minis on there, it’s still a great way to test paint schemes. It has a ton of styles to pick from like fantasy, anime, sci-fi, and everything in between to pick from. With such a selection you can almost always find a mini close to what you have.

You can select every little part on the minis to paint, use a brush feature, and even use real paint types. So you can get super detailed and find a perfect base for what you want your minis and army to look like. It’s just a great way to save you the hassle of trying out schemes on test minis. Also, if you’ve been thinking about a scheme and aren’t sure, this could make up your mind.

How Color Minis Works

Color MinsFirst, you pick which mini you want to test your scheme on. They have tons on there and are constantly adding more minis daily. Note, you can either start with a pre-loaded scheme and change it or start with a totally blank mini. Then you click which part you want to change the color of, like the pants, gun, pads, etc… You can also do this on their website or grab the app.
