Forge World Imperial Guard Points Changes Emerge

Imperial-guard-wal-horImperial Guard Forge World points and wargear changes were spotted showing where they’ll sit in 9th Edition 40k! Check out what’s been highlighted.

Spotted on Reddit from U/FirstRankFire, he took the time to write down the points for units that were being talked about on Striking Scorpion82’s YouTube video.

We also have the new IG points from the Chapter Approved 2020 book for you to check out as well, that was spotted on Imgur.  If you’re a big Imperial Guard Forge World unit user, then pull up your current points and compare them with these changes.

Forge World Imperial Guard Points Changes Emerge

With that said, it’s important to remember that the Guard got a massive buff due to the fact that vehicles ignore Heavy in 9th Edition.

Chances are it was put up for sale AFTER this book was printed, and will get added when the Index books drop for 9th edition.

Units Presumed Going To Warhammer Legends

forge world imperial guard 3If you don’t know, Warhammer Legends is where good models go to die. GW takes them out back and all you hear is a distant boom. This list of units wasn’t mentioned either leading some to suspect to be removed from the Index (i.e possibly turning up in the next Warhammer Legends announcement).

As we’ve said before if you’re a Forge World junkie and love to play your Imperial Guard with a bunch of resin, sit down and take the time to check out how much everything has changed. Be sure to take a look at the entire list of wargear as well. Depending on what you give your models, they could’ve gone way up or stayed fairly tame.

What do you think about these points changes for Forge World? Do you think the next announcement to come is a Warhammer Legends update?
