Maarek Steele is a monster in his TIE Advanced, but wait until you put him in a Defender. His ability is great for picking the most devastating critical card for your opponent. This adds strategy to your list, and allows you to exploit weakness in your enemy’s list more effectively.
The TIE/ D title allows you to attack your opponent twice:once with a cannon that costs 3 point or lower and once with your primary. With all of those dice that you will be throwing, a focus token or target lock is not going to cut it. Equip Marksmanship and see how that works. It allows you to change 1 focus result to a crit and all other focus results to hits. No where does it state that this is to be used once, so you can modify both volleys with this upgrade.
An Ion Cannon on Defenders has been tearing up our local meta-game, but Flechette Cannon and Tractor Beams are still great options. How would you fly this ship against your next opponent?
