Have you ever faced the dreaded Hyperloop combo in Star Wars Destiny? If not, come and find out why and how this deck can be so powerful.
This deck features Poe Dameron and 2 Hired Guns as its character base. Bro Dameron has a nifty special ability that is the focal point of this deck. The Hired Guns do what they do best: gain resources for your cards. Emperor’s Throne Room is a great battlefield that will tie everything together. Let’s get started.
The key is to have the Millennium Falcon and Hyperspace Jump in your hand to get the party started. Start your turns by rolling your Hired Guns and hope for Resources. If you get 1, go ahead and claim the battle field, resolve Poe’s special ability and resolve the Millennium Falcon’s 2 resource side. That gives you the 5 you need to play the Falcon from your discard pile on turn 1! What the?! So soon!
Having the Millennium Falcon out so soon is so powerful and it will boost your offensive power. It’s special goes hand in hand with Hyperspace Jump if things get hairy. Just end the action phase and continue to play Hyperspace Jump from your discard pile for free over and over again.
This loop theory can end friendships though, so be very careful playing thins deck. It is not very fun to play against. Not being able to react each turn can really put a damper on your opponent’s turns and game plan.
Somewhere out there, hapless Destiny fans are caught in the Hyperloop. Have you faced this deck and lived to tell the tale?
